On the one hand, this is the first tech in a while that didn't make me bleed while doing my cuticles, but if I have to bleed to get good service then apparently that's how it's going down. I didn't appreciate paying what I did, and that there were blatant imperfections in my pedicure that she tried to say "looks good", and I had to have her correct them. In the end, I was so pressed for time I didn't have the patience to stay longer and have her fix anything else on the manicure, despite gel polish gobbed all over the sides of my nails! Did you know gel polish BURNS LIKE A MOFO when it's on your fingers under the light? I DO, NOW They even charged me an extra $5 for being extra, which I was happy to pay, but not pleased with the results... Then, while waxing my upper lip, she kept trying to get me to purchase an eyebrow wax. I got my nails done in September and Victor is an AMAZING nail tech!!! My nails have never looked better but unfortunately I can’t return anytime soon :( They were not taking covid precautions like putting up a plastic shield in between the customer and nail techs which was very disappointing because during these times it’s important to be extra safe. Another thing was that they are on the pricier side. Not sure if I was overcharged but I respect each nail salons prices so I’m not too upset. When I asked the price they seemed a bit unsure and gave me a price on the higher side but at the time I was ok with paying the price because my nails looked so good and I see that they work hard but looking back I don’t think I would pay that much in the future. My aunt went here for the holidays for a pedicure and I figured that I would send my wife there for "special treatment" I scheduled her for "the works" (hair, nails, pedi, facial) I figured a well deserved pampering... Wrong... She got home and her nails were horrible there was polish all over the sides of her fingers. I specifically called and made an appointment for her and requested that everyone be there to accommodate her. The manager said YES... that was a lie... she had to come back the next day to get her hair done. When they did her hair they didnt even wash it... I could have sent my wife to super-cuts and they would have washed and cut her hair for less than 40 bucks... all and all I spent over 150 bucks for a crappy job.
