Mpanitas Restaurant — Restaurant in Tampa

I like the empanadas here for the most part. However, it's very weird that there is Infine sauce included but none given for takeout orders. Also, there is no one that speaks English working the cash register. I've had multiple questions and no one can answer me. I've been here twice and my order has been wrong both times. The first time, they put the order in wrong. The second time, I had to input my own order because the cashier couldn't assist me, despite me putting at the menu items i wanted... the refused to even try to help me because I only spoke English. As a result, my order was wrong having to be the damn cashier myself... download Google translate and maybe you'll have a better experience. ...

I went to this restaurant today with some family. We ordered some empanadas, tequeños de queso, tequeños de plátano y queso, papelón and café con leche (coffee), etc. I gotta say that I recommend everything we tried today, the empanadas were AMAZING, they even serve them with some sauces like hot sauce and garlic sauce. The tequeños were out of this world. It was our first time trying tequeños de plátano and they were spectacular, they also served them with some nata which matches it really good. The drinks were also amazing, the papelón was so good, as well as the Malta and the cafe con leche. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. And I will certainly come back to try more of their menu. SO GOOD. LA MEJOR...

A local gem!

Just stopped by for the first time yesterday and there’s a ton to be said about Mpanitas! The food is DELICIOUS! Beyond offering good grub, it’s so nice to have a local restaurant that isn’t the same ol’, and adds more diverse offerings to the area.

The restaurant is intimate, yet they pack a ton of stylized elements into such a small space!

Additionally, there is a ton of detailing in the menu and other media, so major props to whoever oversaw the design and anyone else who had input. The subtleties add so much to something that is already awesome on its own!

I hope they get the attention they deserve, because they are offering legitimately great food at...
