We used Capt. Kevin Overstreet this past weekend… Here’s what you need to know: if you want a boring fishing charter that is just about fishing and that’s it, this isn’t the one you want. However if you are looking for a fishing expert that is not only willing to put you on the fish, but also willing to teach you whatever you want to know about catching fish and make it feel effortless, this is your guy. We spent 6 hours catching fish and it was so fun that we didn’t even realize the time passing. Our group had different levels of experience from beginner to expert and we all learned something new and walked away tired from catching fish and impressed that a day could hold so much excitement and thrill. Kevin takes great pleasure in teaching and guiding and that joy and pride shines through every moment. Every fish we brought in brought him as much enjoyment as it did us! He is fun, interactive and full of personality! Thanks to Kevin I got my first ever inshore slam, (trout, snook, and redfish) and my stepdaughter and boyfriend caught the biggest snook and redfish they ever have in their lifetime living in the Tampa Bay Area! Captain Kevin is by far the best charter captain this family has ever experienced! I recommend him to anyone wanting to enjoy fishing and enjoy the company while doing so! Capt Kevin, you ensured our family will have life long memories and knowledge of fishing Tampa Bay! I cannot put a price on that, so thank you! Wow, what a day on the water with Captain Kevin! Let me start by saying I am an avid fisherman and boat owner as well. I usually try to book a fishing charter for my family every time we're on vacation and it usually ends with my wife telling me it was a waste of time/money because we either didn't catch fish or the boat and captain were far below expectations. Well, this time we hit the jackpot with Captain Kevin. He had us catching fish from the very first cast and it didn't stop for 4 straight hours! I love to fish and never get enough of it but I actually put my pole down a few times during the trip so I can give my arm a rest and also to sit back to watch my wife and two boys having such a great time reeling in fish. We must have caught and released close to 40 very sizeable fish and 5 different species...Lady Fish, Mangrove Snappers, Snook, Jacks and Redfish. Aside from the unbelievable fishing, Captain Kevin's customer service is outstanding. Within 3 minutes of sending an email inquiry to book a potential trip my phone rang and it was Captain Kevin responding. He worked tirelessly through the day, has a perfect demeanor for first time fishermen/fisherwomen/kids and had a lot of good laughs and conversation. If you literally want to slay the bay of fish then you have to fish with Captain Kevin.

We had an amazing experience!! We booked Captain Kevin for my son’s 10th birthday. He delivered in every way! From the booking process up until after the trip, Kevin was very professional and extremely helpful. He took the time to figure out what my family wanted out of our trip and tailored our trip to every member of our family. From my non-fishing wife, to my 6yr old, to the birthday boy turning 10, and myself. He made sure we all had a fun time!! I especially like the fact Kevin taught my kids the proper techniques, allowed them the opportunities to be involved in more than just holding the fishing pole. Kevin explained how to cast, bait, and net a fish, even having my 6yr old netting my 10yr old’s fish! Kevin kept it fun, even in the very few minutes we had of waiting for the bite. We have done many fishing charters and this by far was our best experience. We caught a huge variety of large fish and he even hooked me my first redfish (a huge one at that)! I highly recommend Captain Kevin and we will definitely be returning for...
