Update from 2 star to 4 star. Went back and had their Kuetes Burger (spicy) and it was so good I ordered a second one! Fresh, just the right spice, get sauce, just a good ol burger and best of all it is priced right! Enjoy!
Menu is so hard to read (black lettering on dark background. Fix that guys). Also, fix that annoying fire detector low battery CHIRP, WOW!
Decided to have a burger tonight which is what I should have ordered...(spoiler alert) but ordered a spicy shrimp burger with onion rings (extra charge) (spoiler alert: should have gone with the fries) based on their recommendation and is one of their most popular sandwiches. Honestly, I don't know how that is unless it's everyone ordering it because it's different which is what I did and it was a mistake. Let's start with the onion rings. Not very good and WAY TOO greasy. Would NOT recommend at all. Go with the fries. BK onion rings are better (facts). Sorry. The shrimp burger is also greasy inside. Looks great on the outside but greasy on the inside. Decent/ok flavor but couldn't get over the grease. I wouldn't order it again. Didn't feel very well after eating this dish. Best part was the bread and sauce!!! Sesame bread is soft and very tasteful. So this burger joint has potential. I'm going to go back and have a burger. I recommend you do the...
Read moreFood was pretty good. Prices were fair. Read on for the reasoning behind 3 stars. Hopefully our situation was an anomaly.
On Wednesday we wanted to get takeout. We take covid very seriously and when we saw they had curbside pickup we thought perfect, we can call, order, pick it up, and be on our way with minimal contact while still supporting a local restaurant. We tried calling 15 times. The phone rang off the hook for the first few times and then a busy tone would be the next few calls, before ringing off the hook again. Finally we gave up and drove there to order in person. We called when we got there to ensure their phone was working. It did. It rang off the hook with a cook in the back remarking, "Jesus like we aren't busy enough". I understand being busy and unable to take to go orders. That wasn't the case. They took our to go order while we were there, no problem. There were 2 tables there, and 2 other to go orders waiting. Why offer curbside pickup during a pandemic if you're gonna make us go inside and order anyways. If it is too busy to answer the phone, take it off the hook, or answer and let the customer know it is too busy for to go orders, or silence the phone and not pick and choose what calls you answer. It was very frustrating and ridiculous to go through just to order 2...
Read moreThe food was great and the atmosphere was nice overall, but I’d like to share a small concern regarding the service. As a visitor, I wasn’t sure whether this was a self-serve or table service setup. When the server brought the food, I instinctively reached out with both hands to receive it — something that’s quite common among many Asian customers. However, instead of a polite explanation, the server simply said “sit down” while pointing at the chair with their foot. I understand their hands were full and it may not have been intentional, but the phrase and gesture came across as a command, which felt disrespectful. Even if English isn’t someone’s first language, people can still feel whether they’re being respected or not. I hope the staff can be more mindful of cultural differences and communicate with a bit more warmth and clarity for international guests. I’m sharing this hoping it helps improve the experience for...
