Went there with a large group of coworkers, ten of us to be exact. So, this place caters to large groups and families, big tables and lots of seating options. They also have private rooms for groups. I'm sure if you by yourself or on a date they have seats available for that too. It's a family-style restaurant so the portions are big. While I couldn't eat the meat dishes that day, the beef toung and several beef and vegetables dishes were excellent according to my group. I had the Selrung Tang (cow bone broth tripe soup), which was perfect for my diet needs that day. It was very tasty and filling, especially on a rainy day as it was. If your a big eater this is the place to go. I think anyone looking for a good place to eat Korean food, look elsewhere as this place has lost...
Read moreUpon entering the restaurant, I had really high expectations because of the delicious smell and the large volume of customers. However, it was a rather disappointing meal as the food did not live up to my expectations.
The menu here seems to focus largely on beef, with many beef items being their recommended dishes. We tried quite a number of items: army stew, pancake, grilled pork belly, hotplate squid, japchae. The only dish that was good was the pancake. The rest were below average, in particular, the army stew tasted really diluted and lacked the proper flavours. Even the side dishes were letdowns, the kimchi was very mild-tasting and the other side dishes were forgettable as well.
Overall, I will definitely not be returning here as the food wasn't good and the prices were also...
