Point S Taos — Local services in Taos

The mechanics that serviced the leak and patch on my tire were great. However the guys inside just don't seem to care. I was told the service would be 30-45 min which I was happy to wait for. Coming up on an hour and a half I went to ask the person at the front desk for a new estimate. I assume he was the manager based on his clothes being different than everyone else. I told him "Can I get a new time estimate because I'll need to let my job know I might be a bit late". Without looking up from his cell phone he told me "oh it's probably done". We went outside and the wheel/tire did not have the work order ticket that was filled out when I dropped it off and I had to point it out. He had me roll it inside to pay for it and then to my vehicle. This was a tire I took off another vehicle and brought in in a different one, so the offer to install it back on wasn't helpful in this situation. Bought two tires, went next day for installation, when I arrive the place was empty ( no line or anyone waiting ) so I give them my keys and took a sit, soon more people show up, 40 minutes later a notice that someone that arrive after me was leaving, I looked outside and my car was still outside on front of a line with several cars behind, soon after someone else that arrive after me was leaving so I notice that a few of the cars that were waiting behind my car were gone, 1 hour 30 minutes later the place was empty again and my car was still outside. I was about to walk outside and take my car when I gess the guy on the front desk notice, and went to my car and move it closer to the shop, 2 hours later I finally got my car back, 2 HOURS to install 2 new tires., but not really, 30 minutes to install the tires 1 hour 30 minutes just waiting while every other customer was coming and going, ........ the icing on the cake got home checked my car and I noticed that they chip one of my wheel rims., I'm done...

I’ve never had the royal treatment in a car shop until this past Friday on St. Paddy’s day, which was good luck! I was told to ask for Jered, a friend of a very nice gentleman That helped us with our vehicle in a snowstorm. In order to make it back home to AZ our little car needed a few bolts on the flaps near the tires. Without hesitation Jered opened up a bay in less that 1 minute told us ladies to stay warm in the car, and he bolted and secured that flap in less than 5 mins . He sent us safe and on our way for our 8 hour trip and didn’t even charge us . I really felt he wanted to ensure our safety on our 8 hour drive rather than charge us . I’m not from Taos but if I lived there I’d want him only as our car repairman. A lot of the guys working in the shop on cars looked happy, we’re actually smiling, and even singing tunes as they worked .
