Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Willa in Taos, NM. Location is great for walking to the local shops and eateries. The hotel itself has an interesting menu and very cool indoor/outdoor bar area for guests to enjoy. The staff was first rate, the rooms were impeccable, the grounds and inviting swimming pool provided a calm, relaxing environment with the choice of a sauna, cold plunge, weight room, hammocks, and fire pits, all carefully and thoughtfully designed with comfort, peace and serenity in mind. The perfect mix of nature with the mountain back drop and all the amenities provided the ultimate hotel experience in the quaint town of Taos. I must highlight how accommodating the staff was. It was obvious they were all about making sure guests were well taken care of, making sure the hotel was in tip top shape, all the while being personable, professional, genuine, and obviously eager to make our stay the best it could possibly be, without being intrusive. Personally, I loved every carefully selected detail in the design of the hotel from the lobby, restaurant/bar area to the rooms and the grounds. The modern minimalist pueblo architecture and design signified true luxury in a laid back artful manner, making the experience a retreat I hope to return to in the near future. Be sure to check out their museum exhibiting art work from the people who helped build this exemplary retreat. We almost skipped the museum but glad we took a few moments of our time to...
Read moreI’d heard good things about Taos, but didn’t really know what to expect AND turns out, staying at Willa is what took the trip to the next level. From the moment I walked into the room, I knew it was something special. It wasn’t flashy or overdone, just perfectly designed with creative simplicity. The kind where every detail makes you feel considered: Aesop soaps, cozy robes, a handwritten welcome note, and even organic, healthy snacks that made the mini-bar feel more like a wellness retreat than a hotel. It felt like home, if home had better taste. But what truly set the tone was the energy of the place. The front desk and bartenders were always there, always smiling, always making us feel like regulars, even though it was our first time. We walked everywhere, restaurants, shops, even nightlife (yes, we found the ONE bar open past 10pm). During the day, we’d return to relax by the pool, which came with epic views and a sense of peace I didn’t know I needed. In the end, it wasn’t just a great hotel stay. It was a recharge, the kind of experience you carry with you. Taos is already a special place… but Willa? It’s the kind of place that makes you start planning your next trip before...
Read moreHotel Willa was such a memorable experience for our little family. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed—the staff are genuinely kind and attentive. The property is peaceful and beautifully designed, with serene, almost otherworldly grounds that invite you to slow down and unwind.
We especially loved the wellness area. The pool, sauna, and cold plunge were the perfect reset—restorative and beautifully maintained. And the food at their restaurant, Juliette was a true highlight. Breakfast featured an incredible Spanish torta—rich, savory, and so satisfying - and you must try the whipped iced espresso with pecan milk! Dinner was just as impressive: the burger was perfectly done, and the chicories were a fresh, unexpected standout.
Traveling with a toddler can be unpredictable, but Hotel Willa made it feel effortless. The space, the people, the food, the atmosphere—it all came together in such a beautiful way. We’re already dreaming about...
