I've done 2 events at the Artful Gathering and both were just so much fun! We went as a couple for Valentines Day and painted the northern lights as instructed by Chris Millea, Blue Coop Art. While there we also had a wonderful charcuterie treat catered from the Plane Street Cafe as well as coffee and cookies. After the painting and snacking, we made a floral arrangement with blooms from Rachel's Flowers. So pretty and I love that everything is local. The second event we attended was Sourdough 101 led by Amber Arman of Bunker Hill Bakery. I just cannot say enough about how amazing Amber is. She is hilarious, her class is fun, and her bread is the absolute best! I recommend this class to anyone who may be interested in learning the art of sourdough breadmaking! The community of Bethel is so blessed to have The Artful Gathering. This place is such an asset to have. Jessica Blankenship has done an incredible job establishing this business as a perfect way of giving back to...
Read moreThe Artful Gathering has long been a favorite place of mine and my family’s! Since its conception and original location we have gone to the adult workshops and the family activities. Now that my son is 5 and preparing for Kindergarten, we enjoy going to the weekly play group and drop off classes for kids. My son loves the studio SO MUCH that for his last birthday he asked for $5 bills (since he was turning 5) so that he could use the money to attend art classes all summer. The Bethel location is supper convenient for my family but offers so much for the grown ups to go do while their littles are in classes or camps. If they choose to stay at the studio, the homey feel of the couches and ambient nature sounds offer a relaxing place to wait and watch from afar. The workshop and class offerings are constantly being added too (clay classes were added just a while ago!) and Jessica’s creativity is prominent in everything that...
Read moreThe 45-minute drive is NO comparison to the value my children receive here. We are 9 weeks in, and I am consistently impressed. Jessica's dedication to the Playful Pottery classes is outstanding; the amount of care, instruction, and pure effort she puts in is a rarity. She is well-versed in her craft and ensures she spends meaningful time coaching every child. My daughters (4 and 7) have flourished in just one semester. They've gained an incredible amount of education, artistic support, and confidence. This studio is an investment we're happy to make. We're already planning on signing up for many more classes! Adding pictures from the art show that took place at the end of...
