The Plane Street Coffee House & Cafe — Restaurant in Tate Township

First time to try this local coffee house and it was a pleasant surprise. Came in during brunch and ordered The Clucker and my DH ordered The Beast. Also ordered the house special biscuit and gravy as well as Hot Espresso Cafe Mochas. Everything was wonderful. My Clucker Wrap was fresh and light. There is a good balance of ingredients in the filling - great for a healthier option, chicken was grilled but not greasy. The big winner will be the coffee- it's a coffee place after all! The chicken salad sandwich on the croissant roll was very good. Just happened to have it as a special the day I went there. Great little Cafe with good food and good food options. It is a smaller menu but the servings and service won't leave you feeling short! Take the time to dine in and view the old photos on the walls. Or they offer carryout if you don't have the time to stay. The French Toast was very good, option of strawberries and banana slice. I believe that was a special as well. Received a gift card to the Plane Street Cafe, and I was very pleased to find a wide variety of coffee, tea and soft drink beverages, there is even a bar if you decide to have a bloody Mary with your selection. As well as a great selection of entrees, and sides. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner indoor and outdoor dining & carry out. Suggest trying the lemon blueberry muffin it is phenomenal.
