I haven't had a SINGLE driving infraction in 10+ years. Yet, I get profiled and ticketed here after being in town less than 45 minutes!!!

I had just flew in from Dallas, got a nice rental car, and was LOST in the area, so I made a legal U-turn and pulled up behind a semi truck making a left turn. I then noticed the cop in a parking lot literally to my left of me. He noticed me also. I sat there for about 40 seconds and decided to go around the truck. I signaled, switched lanes, and drove off. Cop followed and hit his lights. I'm thinking he's going after someone else and actually switched lanes again to allow him to go by my, but he switched lanes als, and remained behind me. So, I pulled into a parking lot where he tells me he "clocked me going 60 in a 45." I'm like "you clocked me going 60 out of a U-turn? How does that work?" He says "you must have been hitting it." Really? Who speeds while LOST in an area and trying to find a particular street to turn on? If anything, I was traveling SLOWER than usual. Then he tells me "he won't give me a ticket for speeding, it'll be for "double parking"...the perk being it "doesn't go on your record, but it costs more." Really?

So, it's all a money grab, basically. They can pull you over, simply "pick" what they want to charge you with, and there's nothing you can do about it. The court denied my request to pay what I was actually ticketed for and again, forced me to pay for the "double parking"...which is roughly an additional $25 dollars.

I'm not done...

Serious investigation needs to occur with the Judge and Sheriffs office on the Landlord/Tenant side. I was forcefully removed from my home in 2017 with ALL of my furniture busted and broken including children’s beds after a judge allowed an eviction on a property that FAILED the CofO inspection and allowed the landlord to lie! It was on file next door with the city and on top of it the Notice to Quit was dated 3 months prior with NO NEW notice to quit after the rental arrears were resolved. This Judge had to be in kahoots to allow this to happen when the law clearly states a current C of O MUST be in place. Families left homeless and these Judges not checking dates or court filings to at least READ what’s in front of them. The City of Taylor’s website alone has had inaccurate information and bad contacts listed for many many years. This is such a corrupt office and I pray people smarten up and file legal actions against these people when you are being plotted against. Don’t let the City of Taylor take everything from you and your children due to corruption and landlords you can’t trust. They walk in with an old C of O and the Judge knows non the wiser because they look at you like a scumbag while the homeowner is renting with NO C of O because their a slumlord. Get away from this city and the people in place to...

If I could, I would rate them 0 stars due to the judges competency level of knowledge and expertise. I was a personal advocate for a domestic violence victim. We have wasted many hours, days, weeks and months for nothing. The judge, judge Slaven didn’t want to hear the victims side of thing and caused the trial to be dismissed for a feline of the state. The defense attorney Bill Clovos and the defended brought nothing in with them except themselves to prove their case. Us on the other hand brought all evidence that would book the defendent for 15+/life in prison, that’s if the system worked right, but it failed. The system treated my non professional client more liked the criminal then the victim. We should, like the olden days, if someone has done us wrong, we should take charge and defend ourselves. This broken system of justice just goes to show the in competency level of our people of justice. They take more from the system they give or do their damn job. It is unconstitutional to not hear both sides of the story before ruling, that’s called corruption and slanderious. KEEP DRAINING THE SWAMP MR....
