City of Taylor — Local services in Taylor

Absolutely horrible. There has been a rubbish issue on a vacant city lot on Brest and Pine Street for 3 years. The city started cleaning it up, then stopped. It has been reported that the vines and debris on this lot are causing issues going up power lines providing shelter for ferral/stray animals breeding habits. Thus issue has veen reported at least 5 times since March of 2023. The clerk, Lisa answering the phone does not provide appropriate customer service, just says someone will look into it, does not help with any form of contact for help, or time frame in which help will be provided. Because of the unkempt city lot, and the vines coming from the lot, squirrels are nesting on utility lines and chewing threw, being a large fee at customer expense. This city customer service is a mess and not helpful, they are rude and leave city responsibility to the tax payers to clean up....

It is a shame when you have a mayor that dont put more Fire hydrants in that Community their are not enought of them on one st .a woman house burn down yeastetday. because the one in front of her house had no presser because they did a sloppy job when they fix the break on the st a while back .from that time on never did they even have good water presser their .when call to complain nothing gets done .even the fire men said they say something to but they do nothing about it .if that is the case .maybe u need to take down the people that work for the city. in put new people in office that care.Put more fire hydrants on the streets so they don't have to go all way to the main street to use.you might be saveing a life.the woman was asleep.could of...

My wife & I went to The Taylor City Hall at approximately 10: 30 this morning. We have an upcoming civil case coming up ( April 7' th) & we politely asked Laura 2 simple questions about how would we go about increasing our lawsuit amount & inquired about having a code inspector come to court with us. She continued to raise her voice at us & repeatedly told us " I AM NOT A LAWYER & CANNOT GIVE YOU LEGAL ADVICE. We kept telling her we do NOT WANT A LAWYER NOR DO WE WANT LEGAL ADVICE.
