Hometown grocery that still has a meat counter! The meat is absolutely wonderful!!! Has a little of everything although the prices might be little higher than big box stores. They do run some decent sales though. This place is a treasure and kinda feels like your walking into a store from the 50s-60s. (I think the shelving is same) The store looks exactly like it did when I walked in there as a kid (30+yrs ago) except the little room for a game machine lol. Excellent place to buy your meat. Fresh, pick out your own meat and good quality. The butchers go above and beyond to assist you. Employees are very friendly and they have paper bags and carry out. Excellent family owned business. Parents started taking us there when when we were kids and was My Store. In fact, that’s what I still call it. Same quality service. I have lived here in Taylorville going on 5 1/2 yrs now. If you want good fresh meat Taylorville Foodliner is the place to go. The guys behind the meat counter are really nice and helpful. The are always friendly an greet you with a smile. Ready to help you if you can't decide on what meat to buy!
