The Grand Lux Venue — Local services in Teaneck Township

I recently assisted in planning a wedding shower at The Grand Lux Venue, located in Teaneck, NJ and it was a beautiful and incredible event. We looked at a number of other venues in Jersey and near the city, and they just didn't compare to the Lux. We had almost 200 people with a sit-down dinner. The space is exceptionally clean, spacious, and honestly doesn't require much decor.

Even with the beautiful space, the best thing about The Grand Lux Venue is the manager, Lucy. From our first visit, Lucy was nothing but patient, helpful, and fun. She made the reception planning experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible. She lined us up with caterers, helped with the furniture rentals, and etc. She and her husband were there the entire evening, and they really cared about making sure everything went well. While coordinating my event, I ran into some issues with my staff, and they pulled up their sleeves and provided soooo much help.

This place is a stunning space for a cocktail party, baby shower, wedding reception, work party, and more . The walls could be up lit in any color, which allowed for a beautifully and intimately lit party. From my understanding a number of celebrities and high-profile clients have rented this venue. So, we were honored that we could also rent out the venue for our event. The location is about 20 minutes from the city driving or via public transportation. We recently celebrated our daughter Jaylin’s Sweet Sixteen at Grand Lux in Teaneck, and from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank Lucy and her incredible team enough for making it such a magical and stress-free experience.

We got married on May 30, 2025, and I truly could not have asked for a more perfect venue or a more incredible team to help bring our dream day to life. Our wedding had a bohemian theme, and every detail — from the dried florals to the natural textures and earthy tones — was styled with such care and creativity.

Julie, our event coordinator, was an absolute angel. She was so sweet, understanding, and genuinely supportive throughout the entire process. She made sure everything went smoothly and was always there to answer questions and provide guidance when we needed it most.

And Lucy, our event planner and decorator, was beyond amazing. She understood our vision right away and executed it flawlessly. The ceremony setup, the reception decor — every corner felt intentional, elegant, and so beautifully “us.” The way she captured the boho aesthetic made it feel like a fairytale.
