Really loved the food here! I told the owner twice how good it was between the lamb and the vegetables and the chicken and the fish 🤤😋. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a little small and there were complaints about people filing in walking by our tables getting takeout orders which my friend felt was annoying and it wasn't particularly pleasing to me either since it interrupted our meal. Perhaps some sort of signal has to be created where someone from the restaurant can go to the front door with takeout orders. Even then there could be issues since someone in the restaurant will constantly be going by the tables with bags of food.. Or maybe NO curbside and delivery only? 🤔 When you're paying around $17 for entrees, even including vegetables, it would be nice to have the option of certain dishes.... Perhaps the vegetable ones to be able to order half portions to augment the meal. We had a nice young waiter a little limited with his English so we didn't know if he always understood us but we did get the food that way we asked for. The woman I was with is Indian and we're very experienced having traveled to that part of the world with Indian cuisine. I've had it in Paris and we really like Mantra which is a restaurant that's very elegant on route 4 and this is right up there in quality and taste and actually surpasses Mantra in different dishes in taste and portion. Ample delicious food! My last thought is it's difficult to park there. You can park across the street. There's a CVS but then you have to cross that busy street Cedar Lane. With a more accessible location, I bet there will be standing room only one day! I believe the restaurant has other locations also. We can't wait to go back...

We went by ratings and ordered the common items.
We were really hungry and made the mistake of ordering papri chaat. It is paapri and undercooked potatoes without the yogurt and tamarind chutney.
The naan was uncooked and doughy. When we complained the owner said, “Do you want to be more cooked?” He took it back and brought back a burnt uncooked dough. My fiance could see through the kitchen and there were no one manning the oven. It had big chips of raw garlic on top which made it even more horrible.
The chicken vindaloo tasted like store bought defrosted sauce with boiled chicken. This tasted nothing like a vindaloo. That’s the most horrible thing I have ever tasted.
The lamb curry was the better among the rest cause we could eat it a few more morsels.
When we told the owner this is the worst Indian food we ever had he had the audacity to say don’t come back.
They brought with them the corruption and greed from India. They some horrible food in the name of Indian food and being an Indian this feels a great disrespect towards the culinary greatness of Indian food.
Take a heed of a foodie Indian’s warning, follow the owners advice and...

Hubby ordered Lamb Vindaloo. I always try the lamb or goat he orders but usually I don't like them. The lamb was so good. I ate several pieces hehe.
I ordered the Octopus Masala, this is the 1st time we've ever seen Octopus on the menu in an Indian restaurant.
The Garlic Naan had minced garlic which was wonderful, usually its like a garlic oil brushed on the naan.
Mango Coconut Rice was interesting. We've had coconut rice but the added Mango was interesting.
Will definitely go back to try other items.
Update 9/6/22 We came back and had:
Shrimp & Crab Meat - cooked in a silky tomato sauce, served on a bed of garlic bread - this was so good I could have had this as an entrée!
Chicken Tikka Saag - I didn't understand the added "Tikka" in the dish name until I got my order, the saag sauce is put over Tikka chicken. This was ok but I prefer the chicken cooked in the saag.
Mixed Grill Platter - Shrimp, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Seekh & Lamb Seekh - hubby loved it, it was ok for me, lamb was too gamey...
Coconut Mango Rice - hubby loved it with his platter, but I don't never liked coconut slivers so this was a pass for me.
Garlic Naan is always on...
