MAGGOTS IN RICE! Yes, you read that correctly. Maggot-like worms moving in the white rice. Disgusting! They need to be closed down. Do not eat here! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY IN A PLACE THAT CALLS PAYING BLACK/BROWN CUSTOMERS RACIAL SLURS. Terrible and disrespectful customer service practices. I live in Atlanta and came home to Jersey to chill with family. My fav cousin now lives in Teaneck so we went to this Chinese spot on Cedar to grab a bite. Me and my cousin got separate meals, me Pepper Steak and her Beef and Broccoli. I opened my food in the car and that's when I saw movement in the rice container. The rice wasn't even hot it was cool to the touch and smelled sour. We had just pulled off so we drove back for a refund and the Asian man cursed us out calling us no good lying N-WORDS and BI**HES and wouldn't refund our money and threatened to call the police if we didn't leave. First he said he would give us another meal but we didn't want nothing from a place with unclean practices so that's when his disrespect began. This was a terrible, awful experience. I've sent an email to the board of health and included the pics of the worm-infested rice. I REPEAT, DO NOT EAT OR SPEND MONEY AT A BUSINESS "IN YOUR COMMUNITY" THAT REFERS TO ITS PAYING BLACK/BROWN CUSTOMERS AS N-WORDS OR OTHER DEROGATORY DISRESPECTFUL...

I have been going here since I was 18 & I'm currently 33. I live super close. I have heard the negative reviews, including the highly publicized rumors of the owner calling a black woman (I am a black woman myself) the N-word. I had never had a bad experience so I continued to order. Today, I can say I will NEVER ORDER from them again. I called to order food and the second I said I wanted delivery, all I heard was attitude. "we don't do that, we don't deliver." for clarification, I asked because just last month I did pick up, again I live behind cedar lane. I asked if that was just today or never again, he yelled "No more, no more" and hung up on me. I had the call on speaker and my son who is only 8, said "why was he being so nasty & rude?!" I literally can't believe how disgusting he was to me as a customer who has given my money for almost two decades. don't bother, they don't value their genuine customers or anyone for that matter. I'm truly disappointed by how he treated me when I've given him money over all these years. ...

TODAY I WAS ALMOST FOOD POISONED! THE MANAGER SENT ME SPOILED CRAB RAGOONS…. I WAS TOLD BY THE THIRD PARTY ANSWERING SERVICE TO TAKE THEM TO THE RESTAURANT AND THEY WOULD REFUND ME. ONCE I GET TO THE RESTAURANT THE ONLY PERSON WHO IS THERE IS THE MANAGER WHO IS A RUDE MAN THAT REFUSED TO GIVE ME A REFUND TELLING ME NOTHING IS WRONG WITH THE FOOD. I ASKED HIM TO TRY IT AND HE SAID NO BECAUSE I COULD HAVE TAMPERED WITH IT. HE SHOWED ME THE FROZEN BAG OF CRAB RAGOONS HE SAYS HE SERVES EVERYDAY. I TOLD HIM IT TASTED SOUR AND ROTTEN AND HE SAID THAT CREAM CHEESE IS SUPPOSE TO TASTE LIKE THAT. HE INSISTED TO MAKE ME A NEW BATCH BUT I REFUSED AND DEMANDED A REFUND. I DONT THINK HE UNDERSTANDS CREAM CHEESE CAN SPOIL AFTER A WHILE! AND READING OTHER REVIEWS, PEOPLE HAVE HAS THE SAME ISSUE EVEN REPORTING FOR BUGS IN THEIR FOOD. AFTER 10 MINUTES OF ARGUING I DECIDED TO LEAVE BECAUSE HE DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ME MY REFUND. I WALKED OUT AND WILL BE REPORTING HIM TO THE TEANECK HEALTH DEPARTMENT ASAP!
