I met Luke in October (8 months before our June 2024 wedding). I was highly impressed with his customer service and skills to show us different florals of similar taste but at a much more affordable cost. I had sent him one photo of a bouquet I fell in love with. I told him I was happy to substitute flowers to keep cost down as I knew there was expensive floral in the look I loved. He was happy to show me photos of similar flowers and colors to give me the look I still strived for. I was so highly impressed with this I referred him to many before actually receiving our wedding florals. HOWEVER, the day of our wedding he brought my bouquet upstairs to me I was shocked it was not near what I had pictured. I had told him I wanted very little greenery in my bouquet and this was a heap of eucalyptus. I didn’t say anything that day as it is already a high stress on a wedding day. There’s not much I could do. I was about to walk down in just a few hours. I had thought about reaching out multiple times and never did because I thought I could get over it, but looking back at photos after our first anniversary it still rubs me the wrong way. As much as I wanted to love them I couldn’t. I had expected Luke to be one of our best booked vendors by the way he had presented himself in our different meetings and interactions. I had seen pictures he had posted of other weddings prior to ours, and I thought I would receive the same dedication. He did not even use the same florals we had discussed in our quote. He used some, but not all. Which I completely understand substituting of similar value and style of things don’t go as planned, but I felt my substitution was greenery. I was completely missing the pink ranunculus that was to be of similar color to a peony that we chose to substitute. I had told my family they could wear that color that he didn’t include. I asked for white carnations as a filler flower and there was none in any arrangement. The colors used were only 50% of what was promised. I work in the wedding world much more now than I did at the time and know things don’t go perfect but listening and doing what you’ve been paid for are very important. Although I loved the flowers he did on my arch they still weren’t what I asked for. I had wanted it to cover the entire upper left corner or L shape of the arch along with a small side piece (he did do the side piece) of the arch. Luke had even made a drawing to recall what I asked for but the day of was only a partial of what we had agreed to for our wedding. I’m not sure if because we booked so far in advance that he forgot what we talked about, or that some things didn’t come in, or got used for other projects. I’m not sure. He never called for reassurance or let me know the florals we asked for and paid for weren’t there. I’m not sure what happened. I would like to think the best, but it’s just hard and deeply saddening remembering when I look at photos that I didn’t receive what we talked about. I’ll attach photos of my inspo picture since I wanted everything to match the bouquet/colors I hoped for and photos of what we received. I wasn’t too picky on what my bridesmaids bouquets looked like or anything else that’s why I only had the one pic for inspiration.I would’ve been much happier if I had the correct colors on 100% rather than 50% correct colors of the florals, the arch piece was the correct shape and size on the one side and my bouquet had little to no greenery that we had agreed to mainly florals. If my bouquet would have been correct I would have never wrote this review. There were literally 9 flowers compared to greenery. I obviously debated for a year to write this review because I know how much reviews affect business, but I just wasn’t pleased with the quality of work I received and I feel others should hear my experience.
