HORRIBLE SERVICE AND LATE FILINGS!

I used them for my business and personal filings. I had Gary do the filings as I knew him. He no longer works there and knew the manager through my transactions there. Pam is the manager and I had been trying to communicate with her due to my needs with tax information for a home purchase. She is horrible with response time!! Second and most importantly.....I filed on April 7, 2018 for my 2017 tax return. I got a notice in the mail for a late filing and a penalty of $1,600. I figured it was the IRS that messed up due to Pam saying that I filed on said date (April 7). This was false and blatant LIE!! The IRS confirmed that it was Nov 6 that the electronic file was confirmed. Of course Pam is not responding to me when I text or call her. I WOULD AVOID...

Kaitlyn, was amazing and professional! On April 8th I was cutting it close to the deadline. I made an appointment that morning and saw they took walk ins and they just opened for the day. I called Liberty Tax with a simple question about previous taxes I had filed with them. Whoever I talked to was extremely rude- she spent the entire phone call sounding very impatient and annoyed and like she’d rather be doing anything but helping me.
