I just dropped in during that in between time from lunch to dinner hoping to just get a slice. ( I had never been to Village even though I had lived in Fort Mill for many years ) but was craving a NY slice. Well the sweet lady at the counter said we have one cheese. I was starving so I said, i'll take it. She did offer to add pepperoni or even make a new pie. I'm not hard to please. Just slap it on a paper plates. Well this pizza was everything I wanted! It was thin, crispy, chewy and had just the right melding of sauce, cheese and spices. And it was the proper size for a slice you got it...two paper plates! I'm still on my pizza (carb) high but i'll be back ! Bless you Village Pizza! ❤🙏👍🍕

Do not order from here on Friday or Saturday. Food is so random. Might be good might wait an hour to only get a burnt dry pizza. Been living by this place for over 7 years and been trying to avoid this review. To be clear no a bad place just don't order when they are busy because they'll give you anything. Seen pic for yourself. I'm mad because what can normally be good you might get trash. Again only Monday through Thursday to not disappoint yourself.

Went here about 2-3 weeks ago. We were 11 people. It was Friday and place was semi-busy. We were seated in 10 minutes of reaching there. Garlic bread is a must order here. Our server was great and took care of us with great passion. Food is fairly priced. Taste is good too. The only con would be their desert from my perspective, but its still good. Overall bill was around $100-120 ball park. Overall 4.3/5 stars.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! I ordered shrimp scampi w/linguine with extra scampi sauce and a meatball parm. The meatball parm was dry! The shrimp scampi DID NOT come with linguine...they told their was NO linguine!! A REAL CHEF will not use fettuccine noodles bcuz they are too thick for scampi sauce!! When I called, I explained that my noodles were NOT linguine, and there was no "extra sauce"!! The "manager" stated that the "Chef" included the extra sauce in the dish and didn't place it on the side, so they didn't charge me for it and that they no longer served linguine. I told her that it specifically stated on their website that this dish was with linguine, she told me that the website needed to be updated.....what???? She tried to make it seem like I was wrong, but when I stood firm about the dish coming w/ linguine, she then stated that THEY NO LONGER serve linguine. She then stated that the "chef" prepared the meal the way they always do and did not charge for the "extra" scampi sauce!!! Although I had this order delivered, I was so upset about how this "manager" tried to make me seem confused, that I drove to the store. Upon arrival, there were 2 women behind the counter and a few feet away were two young men...whom I'm assuming were the "CHEFS". They were just "chillin" while the two women were counting money and seeming to be taking care of their ONE table-- a party of 6!!! They both hesitated to make eye contact and the 2 "chefs" --- 2 guys who looked liked they were under 20, looked a little worried. I was polite but irritated. I informed them that I was the person on the phone; which I am sure they already knew bcuz of the obvious lack of eye contact! I was told that the "chef" added my extra scampi sauce-- at no additional price. But when I showed them the food, there was silence bcuz they saw how dry tbe noodles looked!! I told them---- first, this is NOT linguine--- it's fettuccine!! Secondly, what "extra sauce" was added??? It was DRRYYYYY!! (Which is why Fettuccine is NOT used for scampi bc the noodles are TOO thick and can't hold the sauce). The owner told me that they didn't charge me for extra sauce and asked if I wanted more sauce. I told her NO and stated that I just wanted my $ back. I did not appreciate the "manager" speaking to me on the phone as if I was an idiot and trying to tell me there was NO linguine and the website needed to be updated; HOWEVER, when I arrived in person, the "owner" stated that they had no linguine AT THE TIME bc they were preparing to close for 8 days. Sooooo much wrong with that!!! When an order comes in and you notice you don't have the items requested, call the customer and explain and ASK if they want you to substitute the ingredients/items!! DO NOT assume that people don't know that they're eating--- I am a foodie--- I know the difference between linguine and fettuccine!! As a manager, owner, etc... keep in mind that the rule of thumb is that the customer is ALWAYS right!!! Word of mouth and a bad blog or review nowadays by the right person, can END YOU!! Your number one goal and priority is to always please the customer!!!

The "owner" and manager fought with me, the consumer, on what was considered extra sauce and also had conflicting info as to why they did not have linguine. The manager said they needed to update the websitr, while the "owner" said they don't have linguine bc they were closing for 8 days and didn't reorder any until they open up again!!!! Overall, service sucks, the food sucks!! Flavorless, dried out and they...

I had to give them 1 star in order to leave the review, but it really should be ZERO! 🚨🚨🚨Long post alert🚨🚨🚨Wow, racial discrimination is still very much alive, and I'm not one to pull the "race card" often, but what I experienced tonight at Village Pizza Tega Cay definitely bothered me. I was running errands in the area and debated on taking myself some where nice or grabbing something quick. I decided to get pizza. Anyway, I was greeted when I entered and told to sit wherever I liked and the waitress would be with me. She came in my area SEVERAL times along with a guy, who waited on a table who was there before me. I was the ONLY black person there, which didn't bother me. I was patient and waited 20 more minutes just to see if the next customers would be ignored. A couple comes in with 2 babies (seats themselves) and the same waitress that had ignored me IMMEDIATELY went to serve them. I decided to leave without saying anything. Changed my mind because I was bothered (which I'm usually not), asked for the manager. A different lady wearing a pink shirt told me she was the manager. I explained my frustration and she immediately went into defense mode "did you let anyone know you were here?" I said, I was told to have a seat..."yeah, but did you let anyone know you were here?" Meanwhile the same waitress walks up behind her pretending to get something. I spoke loudly enough for her to know I was referring to her...again no acknowledgement or apology. What is the staff BLIND? They saw me just like I saw them. I proceeded to tell her how long I had waited (she was not at the front when I entered"...she turned around and walked off as if she was going to get someone. I honestly don't think she was the manager, but maybe she was 🤷🏾‍♀️. I said no need to go get anyone, I just wanted to bring it to your attention. I left, looked back to see if she would even attempt to correct her employee...she didn't. I won't be going there again, but I shared this to bring awareness. I don't care if I'm spending $20 or $2,000 I will never tolerate blatant disrespect or discrimination. Extremely disappointed, and I doubt if they care but maybe they will see this post since they...

How hard is it to make a sub correctly? It’s not a culinary masterpiece.

This place used to be great and our regular Friday night spot to order from but after our delivery orders were consistently wrong we stopped. Well, we foolishly gave them another chance and low and behold the order showed up wrong. When we called to let them know we were told we ordered wrong (didn’t know there was a right & wrong way to order a sandwich) and they did offer to give us a free sub the next time we order, however, these were our dinner plans and the kids were hangry NOW, not next time. So after being scolded for our “incorrect ordering”, being told it would take a long time for another one and then reading the menu to them so it would be made correctly the second time around, we sit here and wait for dinner. NEVER. ORDERING. AGAIN. UPDATE: Never got the sub. Called and cancelled after an obnoxiously (and I’m sure out of spite) long time. When we called back to cancel Cheryl finally gave us an annoyed apology, blaming it on the Friday night craziness, which we can sympathize with...that’s why we...
