I had a terrible experience with this place. I will not be back and I would not recommend anyone to this store for PC/MAC diagnostic or repair. Everyone I dealt with was super nice and respectful, but I didnât receive good customer service at all. I dropped off my laptop on 09/24/17 for a âno displayâ issue, a very common issue for these 2008 MacBook Pros. The technician called me at the end of the week to ask me a few questions, he got any info he needed from me and told me I would get a call back with a price and diagnosis soon. It wasnât until 10/05, 11 days after I dropped my Mac off, that I received a call from lifeline stating that they would not be able to repair my MacBook. I asked if the $40 diagnostic fee would still be owed and I was told yes. I immediately asked to speak with the manager since I was being told I would be charged a diagnostic fee with no diagnosis. They told me the manager was not in that day and that he would call me the next day. Never got a call back. So I went into the store on Saturday 10/07 and spoke with the manager, he apologized for forgetting to call me. He brought out my laptop and it had a note with prices around $200. I asked if that was the price of the repair to fix it and he was unsure so he called the technician. The tech told him he didnât actually have a price but just figured it was going to be too much and that I wouldnât want to fix it. The manager let the tech know you canât just assume a customer doesnât want to move forward on repairs and asked that he get an accurate quote and call me on Monday. I never got a call back on Monday. I waited until Thursday the 12th before I called back and complained. The technician called me back the same day after that. He still didnât have a quote. He did tell me that someone told him around $175 for the part but he wasnât 100% sure yet and he would have an exact quote for me the next day on Friday. Of course I didnât get a call back on Friday. So on Saturday I tried calling them again, I called a total of 6 times between 11am and 4pm and no one ever answered. Finally I went to the website and found a different number than the one that Iâve used to contact them before. The owner answered, I let him know of everything going on, he was very nice and apologetic and told me I would get a call back from him with a price on the repairs that day. He called me back within 10 mins to inform me that they still didnât have an exact price, but it would be somewhere around $700-$900 to repair it. I can buy another MacBook for this price.    Read moreLet me start off by saying this was easily one of the greatest, if not the greatest, customer service experiences I have ever had. Matt went above and beyond to help me with my phone today. I came in needing my cracked screen replaced, but he noticed some other issues with the phone that he could fix (dust in charging port, loose screws causing vibration, etc.) and he did not charge me a penny to do the additional house keeping for my phone. He also gives a free screen screen protector when he replaces the screen. He explained everything to me in terms that I could understand and he was very honest and thorough in his communication about my phone. You can tell this guy really cares for his customers and he really knows what he's doing. You can tell he has years of experience. Matt is the only guy working in there currently and he works very hard. He even had a family event to get to tonight but he stayed at the store a little later than planned just to make sure I was all taken care of. I WOULD RECOMMENDED EVERYONE USE THIS BUSINESS FOR DEVICE REPAIRS. I truly cannot say enough good things about Matt and his business. They had my computer 2 days before the guy called me and told me that he needed hits girlfriend's HDMI cord to connect my laptop to a desktop to try to figure out if it was the screen or something more. After a week without my laptop I drove down there to pick it up and was met with an excuse that he had the flu and was out all week during what appears to be the end of summer. Anyhow he had my computer taking all apart and the back was scratched up. He scored me to wait 20 mins while he put it back together. I pointed out the scratches angrily because I take care of my property especially when it's not cheap. Do you know he had the audacity to take my laptop in the back and use a sharpie marker to color over the scratches and brought it back out like I'm a buffoon and wouldn't notice the difference?! This further heated me up. I demanded that he take it off. He acted like he couldn't see it. After puttering around he finally used goo be gone to get rid of it. Absolutely ridiculous! I definitely do not recommend this company. What was crazy was when I called another repair company, they had warned me against lifeline and said that their technicians were inexperienced.
