First off, some of what happened was my fault, but that is no excuse for the terrible and judgmental service I received here. I was late to my appointment, I overslept, so I called this specific location's number (which I got directly from the website, and this specific location's page). Someone answered it but the reception was bad so all I heard was, "Hi this _ with _ Smart grooming salon, can I place you on a brief hold?" I said sure, and then I waited on hold for 20 minutes! So I drove to the location because at that point I felt it would be quicker. I got to the salon, and told the front desk about the situation and showed them I was still on hold. They insisted that it was strange because there was no one on hold. Whatever so, they couldn't fit me in anymore, because I was on hold for a total of 35 minutes. But the two women at the desk were so rude about it. Daniella said they couldn't take me, then Venice proceeded to say, "I guess I can take him it's fine" with a sigh. After that, my dog pooped on the floor and Daniella exclaimed "Oh my god! Was that your dog??" and Venice responded with a scoff saying "Ugh, I mean it has to be." Like honey, you work at a PetSmart with "Oops!" stations all over the place, you're telling me you've never seen dog poop before? Then Daniella said "Okay well I need to go check in this other person who was here before you so..." She walked away and I asked for some dog bags so I could clean up. As I was cleaning up, Venice came over with a leash and I told her never mind and I would just go somewhere else. She got all nervous, and asked, "Are you sure? I can take him." I said no and then asked for her name, then she got even more nervous and offered to finish cleaning up the dog poop. I am never coming here again because I don't like me or my dog being judged for something perfectly natural. I went to the Petco at Mesa Riverview which was about a five minute drive away, and received MUCH better service over there. Do not come here unless you like being judged...
Read moreOn 4/29 I had called around 6 different stores and none of them gave me the best customer service ever. The other stores just weren’t like this one . I called this location and a gentleman named STEVE answered and I asked about a different variety of fish. He was so helpful and answered every single question I had . For a second I forgot I was in the phone with a store associate ! That’s how helpful he was I felt like I was talking to my uncle or something LOL . After the phone call I just knew I had to drive down there and come get my FISH I had SO many questions about Today on 5/1 I drove to this location ( Tempe Market Place ) ALL THE WAY FROM GOODYEAR !! It was worth the drive and I’ll do it over and over again . This location was PERFECT! Very clean , and every employee greeted me as I walked in . They were all assisting customers and that says a lot about this location . As I walked to the aquatic part of the store there was a very kind young lady named BARBRA who asked if I needed any help , BARBRA IF YOU SEE THIS YOUR THE BEST !! ❤️ She was so kind and she caught all my fish . I wanted them bagged in all different bags since they were different fish and she had no problem doing it . She was so kind and helpful and knew everything about fish. As I was picking out my fish STEVE walked over and asked how everything was going not knowing who I was or knowing I had spoke with him a couple days prior . When I was getting ready to check out STEVE was at the register he was so kind and so sweet And I kindly reminded him about the fish and he just made the transaction perfect . I walked out with the warmest hart ever! Thank you Barbra& STEVE !!! They deserve a raise PROMOTION , somethingggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ll come back to this location only if I ever...
Read moreDowngraded from 5 stars to two stars. Store is always clean and employees are very nice BUT... Every time we go in for prescription Royal Canin SO urinary plus calm, they do not have it. Not just once in a while but for the last 2 years!!! Every time we go in and inquire if it may have just run out on the shelves and in the stock room they always tell us to come back tomorrow because they're getting more in tonight or restocking the shelves tonight. Every time we've gone in the following morning they tell us no they don't have any and we're out. EVERY TIME! Today they were once again out on the shelf. while standing there looking into the stock room I could see that there was the Royal Canin bags on a cart ready to come out for stock. I couldn't read the labels because it was too far away but I have a feeling what I needed might be there. An employee walked by and I asked him if he had any of it back there and he said he didn't know and the stock would be put away tonight and I can come back tomorrow and check. What???? Where is customer service anymore? He could have walked the long track of 15 steps and read the label but no he wants me to go home 12 miles away and come back in the morning to check and see if it's there. I'm no fool! I've done this many times for the last 3 years and I will not do it anymore. If you're thinking I should have called for a stock check before I made the trips, I do and they tell you that they will not go check stock.
