I had purchased two ceiling fans at this store about two months ago and it took the sales person forty five minutes to check me out. In the middle of checking me out, she disappeared out back twice for about ten minutes each time and then she went to help another sales person ring something up for another customer in the middle of my transaction. Anyway, I swore that I would never go back. Well I did and am I sorry. This visit was even worse. I was told by Richard the sales person that he would be right with me at least ten times. Eventually when he did help me, the fixture that I wanted was not in stock so he told me that I would have to come back in two days to pick it up. I asked him to verify the actual dimensions of the fixture that I was wanted and he could not. It took him a good thirty minutes to check me out. So I go back today to pick up my fixture and it’s the wrong fixture. I will return it tomorrow for a refund and I will never go into this store in my life again. Added the next day: The Store Manager Mo, called several times until he could talk to me and apologized. He offered to personally come to my house and make the exchange for the correct fixture which I accepted. He was very professional and apologetic which I commend him for. Today I go to install the fixture and on opening the box, I see that this fixture which is made in China and I paid $200 is a cheap, low quality fixture. The edges are all razor sharp and the metal used is not much thicker than Aluminum Foil that I cook with. I go to connect the wires and one by one all three wires fall off the fixture because they were not crimped properly. It is almost impossible to get straight on the wall because the metal is so thin, it can barely hold the weight of the glass covers. It is not worth more than $30. I got it installed and it just looks so cheap and tacky that I am going out now to buy a quality fixture and I will end up throwing this one in the trash. How these fixtures can be allowed onto the market is beyond me. They are total trash so do not waste your money. For $200, you can get a better...

I made the mistake of purchasing a recliner chair recently and I was assured by the sales agent that it would be at my house in one to two days. He said it was coming from Redlands so there shouldn't be any problems. He couldn't request a specific delivery date and my receipt said between the 12th and the 20th of Sep but the sales guy said that includes the whole country... mine should be arriving on the 12th or the 13th. I asked if anyone had to be home to receive it and he said they could probably just leave it on the front porch if no one's home. I stood home on the 12th... nothing. Left a note on the door on the 13th... nothing. Contacted Lamps Plus customer service and they told me to contact the shipping company. Shipping company acted like they've been waiting for my call, had all my info, but advised me that someone DOES need to be home for the delivery (even though it's listed as curbside delivery) and they don't deliver on the weekends, only Mon-Fri. I also found out that even though the item was shipping from Redlands, it had to first be shipped TO Redlands! So I have to find someone to sign for my chair if ever hope to have it delivered. Luckily I found someone, called the shipping company at 4:30pm and they're closed. Long story short: buy your furniture from a company that specializes in selling FURNITURE!! Note that it's not only lamps they sell they have a variety of products ranging from ceiling lights, ceiling fans, outdoor lighting, furniture and much more! I would like to thank Chandra & Dane for taking their time to price match. I literally saved $88 bucks because they were nice enough and willing to go above and beyond for their customer. It is safe to say I am really satisfied with the customer service they provided! (Since it is April 1st I was going to pull a prank on them but they were so nice that I decided not to give them a hard time haha!)
