The outside looks appealing, though the inside is one big brightly lit room with tables clustered closely together. Not a warm or cozy dinning space. Noisy boisterous bus boy greeted me, and immediately went to a table I didn't want to sit, all the while, making odd sounds. I asked to sit elsewhere, and he was quick to accommodate. Tables have glass tops and menus underneath. Only one side though. I asked for a complete menu. The restaurant only had one other table occupied, so they were not busy. Probably because it was 840pm on a Wed night. Service was quick. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. Prices are on the high side, but the portions are large. I ordered Panang Curry with vegetables and pork. I requested a side of limes and cilantro. I received lemons and cilantro. I asked why, and was told they don't have limes. I thought that was odd, considering they charge a lot more than most Thai restaurants and that it's a Thai restaurant. I also ordered white rice and Thai Ice Tea. Everything tasted good. However, the size of each piece of meat and vegetable in my Panang Curry, were cut rather large. I had to eat each piece separately. A first! I prefer more bite size portions, so I can taste a mix of all the different items at once. Panang Curry is very flavorful, and theirs was very flavorful. The bill came to 31.00. Since it was close to closing time, they started to use chemicals to clean, and they were strong smelling. That ruined the last part of my dinning experience, so I asked for the bill. I may go back and try something different, but, the things I mentioned, mostly negative, will weigh against my...
Read moreThe taste was great, but... obviously they forgot how to do a few things during the pandemic: Tonight I ordered a dish consisting of spinach and my choice of protein and sauce. What I got was a giant heap of very fresh spinach topped with the protein and the sauce. When I write giant, I mean giant - I'm currently big and this was huge even for me ... but ... and here comes the catch: The spinach was also very cold/uncooked/untrimmed not steamed nothing. Surprisingly even the rice was also just lukewarm ... but the taste ... yum!!!
So this could have been a short 3.6 meaning upped a 4 star review with a few remarks about the a bit too cold food and maybe even the skidding glass plate on the table wouldn't have been mentioned, the fact that you can't really eat (white tablecloth style) giant spinach leaves with only a fork, a good review with the end that "all is forgotten" if the food tastes as good as it did ... but then...
half an hour before close, and while the people behind me hadn't even ordered yet (yes THEY were late), a new server, a lady (I didn't even keep the same server) seem to want to take the plates away while I had still my silverware in hand. Sorry now, THAT was too much. 2 stars for indoor dining, I rec'd take out, where you can bring the food home, finish the cooking or at least warm it up. Where you have not to deal with good and some bad servers alike.
Sorry too much room for improvement, looking at other tables I obviously ordered the wrong dish, may others with more luck tonight write a favorable review,...

We were seated promptly at 8PM. President Thai has a huge menu! We ended up ordering everything on it!
Tom Yum soup Crab fried rice Chinese broccoli with fried pork Mussamun curry Pad See Ew Pad kee mow Crying Tiger Tofu with chilli and basil leaves
The highlights were the crab fried rice, curry, tofu, and chinese broccoli with fried pork. All were tasty and cooked perfectly. I'm still thinking about the tofu with chilli and basil! Must order! The tom yum was on the sweet side which I didn't enjoy much. The Crying Tiger had a nice char but was quite bland. I'd skip this dish.
Service was excellent. Attentive and friendly all around. Will definitely be back! We were seated promptly at 8PM. President Thai has a huge menu! We ended up ordering everything on it!
