I had kept these guys in mind for the longest because of me having a broken ps vita screen I did not trust myself to fix since I have experience in fixing things but not everything. And I’m still learning. Anyway I contacted everyone I could find and they weren’t willing to fix my ps vita because they did not have the parts.. however at last hope I found electronic fix which was mildly close to where I live. I contacted them to ask if they could fix my ps vita and surprisingly they said yes but it would take a week because they have to order the parts. Which was different from what everyone else was telling me. They priced it at 85 bucks and I thought it was cheaper than buying a pre Owned vita. I took it in and they told me what they explained and to my amazement it was done sooner than what they said. Anyway they shown me my old screen and they pulled the old one out and shown it to me and I was dumbfounded. They told me I could keep the screen and I chose to do so because I wanted to post a honest review. And honestly I am happy to find them. They are all super cool and friendly and patient. However my only issue with them which isn’t a big issue to really say, was that whoever did repair my vita did good but did not screw it together all the way.. which caused it not to be able to pick up the left speaker to work in which I chose to just get the screwdriver needed to screw it fully myself. Luckily it was just needing to be fastened some more.. I hated having to get a screwdriver to screw it back but I’m sure if I called they would have fixed that small minor issue.. I just think if I happen to go in next time I hope the person fixing my next item will be more sure of fastening the item back together.. I’m sure they probably didn’t screw it in too much because they didn’t want to damage the system by any means. But the screen was still relatively out of place slightly. I thought at first I remembered it being like that for a slim model but then I thought about it again and realized it was just not screwed in all the way.. if anything I would say just triple check your item after they fix it.. I have nothing bad really to say of Electronic fix other than good service and good service! I’ve had my PS4 for years now and it was working fine until it stared over heating. It worked when I watched Netflix but when I loaded my games it would automatically turn off. I didn’t know what to do so I tried to clean it the best I could(turns out it was pretty dusty) but this was only A temporary fix. I needed the professionals to take a look at it so I called electronic fix and they were able to see me same day asked me to bring in my PS4 and they will take a look at it at no charge then call me back to let me know what’s wrong with it and how much it would be. The next day early morning I get a call with a solution to fix my PS4 with the pricing. I must say electronic fix works quickly to resolve the problem and are price friendly. I give them the go ahead to fix my PS4 and I was able To pick it up the same day!!!!!! I pick it up and I find out it has warranty with the receipt if any further problems occur. My PS4 was deep cleaned, and a certain part was replaced. My PS4 now works amazing as if it’s a new PS4. Before getting my PS4 fixed it sounded like an airplane taking off LOL It was super loud. Now it’s so quiet and I’m so happy I can now play call of duty without my PS4 shutting off on me. Big thank you to electronic fix for being friendly, and fixing my Issue ALSO thank you for being professional, and caring with others property’s such as a gaming console. A few weeks back, I took my PS5 to them because it got caught in an upgrade loop. I told them the issue, and by the next day, the machine was ready to be picked up, good as new.
Fast forward to 2 days ago. I wanted to play a DVD..and the machine would not accept any disc media. After trying both games and movies and coming to the same result, I took the machine back to them and explained the situation, along with a picture of the error message displayed. They were a bit confused, but happily said they would take a look at the machine.
Less than 2 hours later, I received a phone call from one of the techs. He said there were no issues present, and if I wouldn't mind bringing some of the media I was having issues with, that we we could see if the problem manifested itself at the store.
I arrived, they inserted on of ny discs the OPPOSITE side, and immediately the disc was read.
Bottom line? USER ERROR. 😅😅😅 I laughed, they laughed (admitting that it is a wonky design) and now, life is back to normal...all in...
