I'm very disappointed in Ashcroft & Oak. My engagement ring was purchased there in 2008, wedding band in 2010, & added an anniversary band to them in 2020. Over the years I've had to have frequent repairs on my rings, mostly the main diamond in the engagement ring. It has fallen out twice, come loose two more times, and chipped twice!! These rings are supposed to last forever! I work an office job and use silicone rings for outdoor activities etc. so I'm not hard on my rings and do not understand how or why this keeps happening. Nobody else I know has had as much trouble with their rings as I have. 6 weeks ago the gold part of my band cracked so once again I had to take them in to be sent away for repairs. They told me it would be done by June 17th because they were sending it to a different place than "home office' and it would be faster than the typical 6 weeks. After June 17th came and went, I called inquiring about it. They said they had to send it to home office to be repaired because of my warranty so it would be the full 6 weeks. Today I call again because it's now been 6 weeks and still no word. The lady tells me "Oh, yeah.. I got an email back in June from home office saying you missed an inspection so you have no warranty to cover the repair." When I tell you, I WAS SHOCKED!! First of all why did I have to call them twice and they never called me with any updates?? Why have they just been holding my wedding rings hostage without doing anything for 6 weeks straight? And mostly importantly I NEVER MISSED AN INSPECTION!! Thank the Lord, I keep all my paperwork and proved they were lying about me missing an inspection and my warranty being void. WHATEVER YOU DO, SAVE ALL PAPERWORK/INFORMATION OR THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU! (This is my main reason for leaving this review. If I hadn't saved all my paperwork I would be completely screwed right now!!) I emailed my proof of warranty/inspections and just got a voicemail saying it was being forwarded to home office / the manager, it would be covered, and that she requested "a rush" on the repair. I'm sure it'll still be another 6-8 weeks and once again I'll have to call asking if they're back over and over again. I have no confidence in their repairs, timeliness, communication, or their warranty after all of this and will never buy from Ashcroft & Oak or recommend them to anyone ever again. Please be very careful if you have warranties through them....
Read moreMy husband was excited to upgrade my diamond ring. We went into Ashcroft & Oak Jewelers located in the Honey Creek Mall in Terre Haute, In. We did not know much about diamonds such as clarity, cut or color, we just knew we were looking for a solitaire in the 2 ct. size. We were greeted by Brady Taylor, sales representative. Brady patiently spent quite a bit of time with us educating us on diamonds, at our request. He was so helpful and patient and when it was clear to him what we were looking for, he gave us more options by contacting a jeweler who supplies their store and had other stones shipped in. I was treated like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman!! Each stone was put into an adjustable setting ring so I was able to try it on and see what they would look like on my finger. We made multiple trips into the store and Brady was so welcoming and professional each time. He was as excited as I was when we made the final choice. The entire team was welcoming and helpful, but Brady just shined in his roll. My husband and Brady spoiled me rotten and I have the most beautiful ring I could ever imagine. I get compliments on it everywhere I go. Brady will go far in the jewelry industry. We were so impressed by him that we reached out to him to purchase Christmas gifts for our daughter-in-laws and granddaughters a few months later. We will contact Brady for all of our jewelry needs...
Read moreFrom the moment really husband walked into this their store in Honey Creek Mall and I as well every single one of the ladies there I was treated us as if we were cherished and precious family member that is truly endured and invaluable able they have provided years worth of comfort and ease for my late husband and son to shop for any type of the significant holiday gifts in regards to me and since his passing yesterday was the most beautiful and meaningful moment and between the manager and I miss she embraced me while I wept early loss of my best friend and soulmate as I was there due to an issue with one of my significant three pieces purchased by my husband and youngest son the most pure and beautiful souls that have a truly treated us as if we were their own I am forever grateful and every single employee at that specific outlet deserve a raise bonuses and free healthcare inconsideration for an outstanding award for humanity customer service it was my greatest experience since the loss of my dealing with companies and outside sex thank you very much and once again I lay My precious jewelry and watches and they're very capable compassionate Loving hands!...
