Woke up to HUGE bed bug running across my pillow! Checked in at 9 pm, checked out at 11:45 pm. Saw something dark out of the corner of my eye dart across my pillow. I had fallen asleep to my ipad playing Netflix so not much light. Saw a dark dot move quickly across the pillow again as I raised my head. Jumped up out of bed, flipped on the lights, turned my pillow over and saw him! Big as an apple seed. Took a pic, blew the picture up (so I could see it in detail) and sure enough it was a reddish brown bedbug. Got a plastic cup, tried to flick him in the cup to show the front desk. It was a chase, but as I got him in the cup & he left about a 1 inch trail of blood marked on my pillowcase (I'm hoping it was from someone prior to me sleeping there, but I fear it wasn't). Took him alive in the cup down to the front desk, got a full refund, and slept in my truck in the parking lot! I just treated my body and all of my belongings, & I'm bombing my truck with a bedbug fogger off Amazon. To decontaminate is so time consuming, and I'm mentally freaking out. This has been awful, it took me hours before I could walk in my house from my trip.

I stayed here with my two cats. I was put in a room that had a huge hole on the wall that my cats immediately got into. I spent two hours trying to get them out and then when I spoke to hotel staff she immediately got rude/defensive with me and said it was too late to do anything. I plugged the hole with some pillows but ultimately when they heard some dogs in the hall they one them went back in and wedge herself by the bathtub. Hotel staff didn’t take it seriously or have any urgency in resolving the matter. It took forever for them to even come to my room and see what was happening. The fire department came and they agreed I should have never been put in that room to begin. Finally maintenance showed up and had to cut a hole in the wall for me to retrieve her. No apologies. No accountability. All they did was search for ways to blame the situation on me.

It was what I expected for a Super 8 at the price-point. It did what we needed when we needed it. It was nice that it had a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was good, and what we expected: waffles, yogurt, hardboiled eggs, frosted flakes, raisin bran, fruit, apple & orange juice, bread products (bagel was stale). Workers were all nice enough. MAIN COMPLAINT: the room smelled musty. My husband found out in the morning that the bottom floor has smoking rooms, so that might be partially the problem since smoke rises. The air was on and cold, so it should have been de-humidifying the room, but it still seemed damp. I can still smell it somewhat and we've been driving 2hrs Overall, though, worth the price.

I would maybe stay here again as a one night pit stop. For the price it was alright.

Highlights: -Friendly manager -Comfortable mattress -Decent breakfast options.

Lowlights: -Stained sheets -Musty air units -Parking Lot seemed sketchy at night

Breakfast options were better than I expected and the manager was really nice.

There were dehumidifiers in the hallways and maybe they did need them, but so many people talk about the musty smell online. I was dreading it, but couldn't smell anything musty until we opened the door to our room. The room was musty AF and THICK, but luckily we had good weather and could turn the air unit off. It's ONLY the smell from the air unit blowing. Either this place should invest in new units or clean them or maybe the filters need changed? If you turn the air unit off the smell clears up fast. We went to get food for 45 minutes and it was gone upon return.

The king sized mattress was ridiculously comfortable. I slept better here than on my own mattress and Serta padding. Our sheets were stained on one side of the bed. The pillows were not nearly large enough for the bed. The comforter was light and scratchy. We brought our own pillows and a twin comforter which we shared as that seems to be a common hotel problem.

The cable went out 10 minutes after we arrived and was off for a while. Even when it was on it was pretty fuzzy.

A few things could have been renovated inside our room (like bathtub and walls), but other than the sheets and someone's leftover ice cream in the freezer it was really clean.

I'd recommend better lighting outside. It really looked like a seedy place and made my significant other uneasy about letting me go outside alone at night. We were also worried about our new car and belongings inside it. Inside the hotel they had several cameras around.

Other guests seemed nice enough and kept to themselves. It was realllllllly quiet and...

My husband, bless his heart, booked this hotel. I really don't have a positive opinion about Super 8 hotels. All he said was Wyndham. It wasn't until we pulled off the highway and saw the establishment that I realized Wynham owns the Super 8 chain. I instantly got grumpy. We decided to check in and see the room before bringing in our things. 1st, there are 3 floors. Where you check in didn't look too bad. Definitely supported a 2 star hotel appearance. As we walked to the elevator, we were feeling positive that this might be alright. As we took the elevator up, we stopped at the second floor just to observe the hallway. Looked ok didn't have a distinctive smell, phew, we're doing ok. THEN the door opened to the 3rd floor. In comparison to the 2 lower levels, this one was questionable. The hallway looked as though it hadn't been either updated or maybe just cleaned well in some time, and it smelled. I can't describe it other than old and musty. Then we entered the room.. #329. The online picture HAS to have been filtered! The bathroom was filthy. You could see someone had been sitting on the bed. There was a decent butt print impression. I will judge places simply by the effort they make to keep the bathroom clean. If they do, I feel there is a better chance of the establishment keeping other places throughout the property clean. Like a restaurant kitchen or a hotel bathroom! The room had an icky smell, and the walls were dirty, too. Nope, it's time to go. We got our money back and out we went. Sitting in our car, I CHOSE the next place, Sleep - Inn by Choice Hotels, which was right across the parking lot. I'll give a review after our stay. If my review impacted your thoughts about booking the hotel, please give me a positive reaction. These help me know if doing these reviews is helpful and worth...

Not the worst, Not the best either. Work related stay. Husband & wife. Stayed approximately 10 hours. Legit 18wheeler parking pleasant staff accommodating on short notice king size beds microwave refrigerator no noticeable signs of bedbugs or roaches pet friendly (we have small legit certified service pet but you never hear him unless there is a problem. You would not know he is there unless you saw him. We carry his ID & he wears tags) Room 115 toilet ran the entire time stains on carpet and bed & walls paint scratched up, stained & peeling spiders noted on arrival the elephant upstairs paced back & forth entire time the large "service animal or animals" across the hall barked anytime anyone walked by you hear all of neighbors conversations, bathroom activities, snoring, climbing in & out of bed, everything you hear cars, trucks, 18wheelers coming & going all night tiny small pillows 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel & 2 small bathtowels, no soap, no shower gel, no shampoo, no conditioner, no lotion or hand sanitizer (for 2 adults) no coffee pot, coffee, ice bucket or cups hard very worn bed, obvious curve to center red light on phone flashed all night. everytime heat kicked on smell of urine & had tree air freshener attached to the front of the unit. Light by bed on side closest to window has short. Placing slightest pressure to center of the bed light went out, remove it and it comes back on. exterior door at end of hall slams all night. no large trash cans to dispose of takeout to prevent bugs in rooms. parkinglot activity after dark....observed several lordering in parking lot, observed black 4 door Ford dually being stripped complete with doors standing wide open with stereo & speakers...
