The company overall is a great business, but the store itself is a bit outdated. The presentation/layout of the store is kind of unorganized and I've witnessed firsthand that employees get absolutely no appreciation or respect from their colleagues. Women get (S.H) or even purposely called the wrong name and are too anxious and submissive to stand up for themselves. The management is almost NONEXISTENT in any form outside of what needs to get done by times and the supervisors don't really train their workers. They just introduce them to their tasks and expect people to get them done in a timely manner. God forbid someone need a ride to work even if it's a 8 minute drive they're still not going to pick you up AND they're gonna be as unprofessional and derogatory as they possibly can to shame you for needing one. (MICHELLE!!) This place says welcome to the team upon hire but shows absolutely zero teamwork.
Also, big note coming from someone who worked for Kroger before: The fact you all have supervisors and management trying to intentionally get people fired when people quit there almost...
Read moreI’m displeased by a cashier (Melanie.) My teenage daughter and I came through her checkout line at 6:15pm 6/22/2019 behind an older gentleman. After he was done paying for his groceries and walked toward the door she immediately made a disgusted face that I hoped my daughter didn’t notice. She proceeded to talk about the mans unpleasant smell to her bagger and tried to get me to join in on degrading him which I ignored. She didn’t great me other than to say “that’s the second day in a row I’ve had to deal with smelly people.”
These are the exact comments I try to teach my daughter not to make about people and here she sees an adult in a “professional” setting acting like this. Very unprofessional. The man had work boots on and paid for his groceries, he’s probably on his way home from a long sweaty work day and stopped to get something to eat. He deserves to do that without being ridiculed by a Kroger employee, not everyone works in the air...

The smaller one was tossed in a bag and tossed in the cart (I found this out when I went to unload at my car and found all of them destroyed) the second pack (24 count), he sat them in the place where a child would sit so they were basically on their side. I caught that one and he only said "is that a problem?". Thankfully they replaced the others but it involved me running back into the store after I was ready to get the heck home. After all, once I check out, I should be able to go on my merry way.
Watch how they pack your stuff. I would've watched better but I had 3...
