Went to the Shrine Circus and it was a good experience. Parking was not idea as it had been raining all day and when we left there were several cars that were hung up in the mud. We still had a good time and would go again.

This is a wonderful little fairgrounds. They have camping with water and electricity. It is literally right next to the Terre Haute Action Track. The track is on the fairgrounds. A perfect way to go to the races. The staff are very friendly. My wife and I were walking out the main entrance headed to lunch (We don't tow a car behind our RV), when the Vice-president of the fairgrounds association pulled up next to us and gave us a ride to Cheddar's. Thank you, sir. That's the kind of customer service that is above and beyond.

Also, some of the water/electric sites are covered by a large pavilion. Shade from the sun and shelter...

I have to say how helpful Jessy Keiith has been in helping in the preparation of the upcoming Books Are Fun sale this June. Not only in her communication with me, but without notice I stopped at the fairgrounds last Friday in hopes of viewing the facility. Jessy stopped what she was doing and took time out to unlock and point out what the Community Center has to offer. Additionally Jessy reviewed the other events occurring at the Fairgrounds the same...

Saturday July 8th half of the fair wasn't available. No animals available to be seen. One thrift shop with a few odds and ends. Nothing for adults except, food set up. Still charging at gate. Lady at gate gave me money back now which was nice but not asked for. Just would've been a good preliminary to tell the public paying at the gate half the fair...
