Honestly would give zero stars if possible. The technician that came out spent all of 3 minutes "diagnosing" what was wrong with my appliance. He did not bring a single tool inside and asked me two questions. Then gave me 3 options in regards to fixing it which 2 included purchasing a warranty plan from them & an $800 repair bill to fix a $1200 appliance. I was told I had to make a decision on the spot. I would have liked to discuss it with my husband but they don't allow you the courtesy of even 1 day to choose hownyounwould like to proceed. Not being confident with the technician and his diagnosis I chose not to fix it. Then he demands payment immediately so he can leave. After paying i requested the part numbers of what was "faulty" in my fridge. We contacted the company to get a second opinion. They said they would call back within 2 hours. It has been 5 business days and we have called multiple times with no response. Looking up the diagnosis and parts on other websites validated my concerns and everything has said to make this type diagnosis you would have needed to remove the cover inside the fridge to confirm the part was faulty. On top of that the symptoms for this part malfunctioning is the exact opposite of what is happening in my appliance. Will absolutely never use or recommend this...
Read moreHe was An hour late. I had to provide him with 3 bath towels. Our freezer has not worked since 5/16 our ice maker has not worked since 4/01. He did not have a shop vac, or any flashlights. I had to provide him with all the supplies. Surprised when he did not have tools to install the fan assembly. Tech did not report all food in freezer on 5/24 was defrosted. I originally had an appointment on 5/17/24. No One showed up. Sears called me Wednesday 6/5:24 telling me I had an appointment Thursday 6/06/24. No one showed up on 6/06/24. Very disappointed in Sears customer service. I’m on the phone weekly trying to get my ice maker working since 4:02/24 also I lost all food in my freezer on 5/16:24. I called protection agreement rept. I’m told it’s not in my records. I have called multiple times. Never got confirmation regarding food loss. Tech who arrived today saw the freezer was still not working and it was empty. I do not appreciate tech did not document food loss on 5/24/24. He knew the freezer was not working ....
Read moreTadd was extremely knowledgable and did a great job! It’s a shame that I cant say much for the company. I paid up front for a repair where they ordered several parts and had them sent to me. Unfortunately, the freezer was not able to b repaired and Tad took all the parts back with him and said I would get a refund. That was in late December-January. I have called a dozen times and they will not pay me back. It is always “pending”! It is over $500.00 that is owed me. B forwarned.
