Weis Markets — Local services in Texas Township

Weis 2 Go Online in Honesdale PA has been a life-saver for me as I am unable to shop in the store owing to health conditions. And they get my order right every single time! I've used shopping services before at many other stores in NJ and IN and they always got my orders incorrect. Thank you!!!

UPDATE: The last time that I picked up my Weis to Go order was a nightmare. It was 90-minutes late and the order was COMPLETELY messed up. I was charged for items that I did not receive. There were lots of items missing from my order. And I was given more of some items than I ordered and less of others that I ordered. Whoever picked my order needs to be moved to another department. It took me hours to straighten out my order and it's still wrong. Plus I had to make another 60-min round trip to get my missing items and my refund. One of the managers gave me a $25 gift card and was very apologetic, and I appreciate the gesture, but the gift card was not compensation for my time and aggravation. Up until this time, the orders have been filled on-time and accurately. However this was such a bad experience that if it happens again then I will have to find somewhere else for my groceries.

UPDATE: I picked up an order today from Weis to Go and my experience was as good as it had been in the past. I had two bad experiences in a row when a new shopper picked my order but the same shopper picked my order today and it was perfect. So I guess it was a learning curve, and who knows maybe she had not been trained properly (we never know what goes on behind the scene). As you know, Prices are soring and sometimes getting everything you need for your family can be extremely difficult. I walked into the store this morning And went food shopping and when I got to my car I realized I had forgotten my receipt And also realized that I overspent by over 20. I turned around and went back into the store And explain to them that I Had forgotten Take my receipt out of the machine But I needed to return two items. I had paid cash and was immediately dismissed and told that they refused to help me. I'm probably at that store 3 or 4 times a week. I was horrified that as a community the grocery store refused to help one of its regular patrons in a time of need. Absolutely no empathy at all. Also I found the counter person to be extremely rude about the entire ordeal. I always try to support local businesses and Shop local. I could easily go to Walmart or any other store and quite honestly if I had gone to Walmart they would have given me no problems at all about it. Not only do they have a separate area for beer sales, but they've got tables in there, so you can sit and relax with a cold one while your better half does some shopping, or if you're single, you can sit and enjoy a cold one before you go shopping... or between aisles... or after each item you put in your basket (although I would think it's not that great of an idea to be slobbering drunk by the time you get to the register... Just sayin'.) They've got a decent selection of beer as well - just about every brand and type you could ask for. Their baked goods are awesome as well, and their veggie area is well-stocked and maintained. Their meats are high quality (mostly) but I don't get my deli meat (cold cuts, for us native NYers) because they don't carry Boar's Head brand...
