Tommy Gun Shooting Range — Local services in Texas Township

Great experience, Nick greeted my wife and I, made us feel comfortable, educated us, my wife never fired a gun prior, so for her to try, Nick did an exceptional job. He signed us up, gave us the safety course, equipped us, and sent us to the range where we met John our Range Officer, who was also an experienced knowledgeable, friendly and patient man. He made us feel comfortable, assisted us every step of the way, loading the firearms, helping us with a jammed pistol, swapping different model guns, etc. These are all retired military men, who served our country, and are now excellent instructors. Thank you for your service, protecting our country and now for your service at the range. We can't wait to go back, with some friends and family, and also want to try Tommy Gun's new out door range. I hope they have Trap and Skeet...

Great place, very friendly. Patient range officer on the shooting line made it easy for a novice like myself. I rented a line for an hour and brought my own Glock and Ruger pistols neither of which I ever shot despite having both for years. Supplies like ear protection was very cheap $2 or $3 for a set. I also got extra ammo when I ran out, which was same price as any other gun store not marked up at all. Next time I go I'm going to rent one of their 22 caliber handguns or a 22 rifle because the ammo is much much cheaper ! My Glock is a 40 caliber so it's not fun spending $24 per box of 50 not to mention the artillery shockwave it produces, lol. 10/10 recommend! I didn't know I'm going to like it so...

My husband and I decided to try our new gun at Tommy Gun shooting range in Honesdale, Pa.

They immediately made us feel welcomed and were very helpful, being we’re new handgun owners. They gave us tips on how to handle the gun, stance, how to properly clear a jam, etc. He made us so comfortable and relaxed, being it was both our first times using a pistol.

The range itself was really clean & nicely decorated. They had a good selection of guns, ammo, eye/ear protection, any other gear you might want or need. The prices are reasonable too.
