Today another fiasco after a while of decent to good service. Wrong order was placed in my car. Called to report a completely wrong drive up order received. - an employee whose name is similar to Sarah with the title "an employee" stated that the only solution is to haul all items back to the store and wait while they repull the order. I advised that waiting while the order is pulled is not ideal as the point of a pick up order is to save time. Asked if they could at least pull the order to swap out. She stated no per her manager.I asked for the manager name and she hung up on me. Called the 800 number as sounds like Sarah stated was the only option. Senior Specialist Ann was just as useless. They offered to refund 20% off of the order I am returning. Explained that was not a solution as simple math means I just get less of a refund. Asked for a manager, at on hold again to have another "Senior Specialist" answer. Heading up to return the wrong order and get a refund....wasting time, fuel, and sanity with this store and thier "no help" line. They don't care and this will be the last time going to Target.
Upon arrival Manager Felicia was called to assist. She was very pleasant and world top resolve the issue in addition to advising they knew the order was wrong and it could have just been switched out. If only the woman earlier had a actually asked the manager and not just hang up on me!
Written Approx 1 Year Ago - Horrible customer service! This store used to be the best. First they take my drive up return and when I got home noticed they didn't complete the $60 return. Called the store and Mae was very rude, refused to help or speak with the associate, and refused to let me speak with a manager.
Tried the 800 number same uselessness, tried the"contact via email"-same useless response. They advised me to go to the store. At this point have wasted more than an hour of my time... you would think guest services at least reads the issue but that assumption is completely WRONG!
I will be completing a few more returns and insisting on a receipt even in drive up. Then you won't have to worry about this customer anymore. Will shop elsewhere...
Read moreI wasted a half an hour at this Target late this evening only to walk out empty handed. Evidently, they cannot keep competent cashers because the two I had tonight were a nightmare unlike any others Iâve ever experienced. It was more important for my cashier to do a price check for someone else than to complete my transaction. After scanning my barcode the next step is usually to be handed the receipt. Instead, I just stood there while she ignored me and helped someone else. Then when the price check lady started to walk away, she turns her head to me and asked, âdo you need something?â Do I need something!? I replied, âmy need my receipt.â Then she looks back at the register and says, âit didnât go through.â Then she said I need to verify my card on the app. Great. And as I sit there trying to login to my account, I just get angrier and angrier that Iâve been standing here, essentially ignored all this time, only to have to deal with logging into my account which I canât seem to get into. I ask for the manager, Roderick. I tried to explain to him how I donât appreciate being ignored when Iâm trying to check out. He asked her what was wrong, and she just said, âI donât know.â By then the cashier a few registers down, Addison, decided she needed to contribute by mocking me! Then the cashier I was dealing with started laughing at me â and at that point I had had it with this bunch. I said, âthere you can have itâ, and left my groceries behind. Then as I walk away, Addison tells me to âleave!â and âgood luckâ in trying to do anything about her behavior. Where was the manager during this exchange that he witnessed firm hand? Doing nothing at all.
As a longtime Target customer, I have experienced occasional ineptitude, apathy, surliness. Iâve also had great experiences regularly for a few years now. I guess theyâre in the shape everyone else is in trying to find hourly employees. Clearly theyâre employing low caliber bottom of the barrel help these days.
More to come when I hear from...
Read moreI would leave 0 stars but can't. I'm totally disgusted with how Target treats their customers and advertisements. This is my first time actually leaving a comment. Today, was the last straw. I git my cart and decided to shop, yea,. I noticed the deal with buy $50 worth of household goods , you get a $15 Gift card, so I decided to stack up. I bought the largest gain liquid detergent, the largest gain washer beads, the largest gain fabric softener, I also got some bath cleaner, air freshener, and then more items that were just needed. I go to check out where an old man began checking me out. I paid attention to the scan. I noticed he rang up a Simply Raspberry lemonade as $2.99, I said hold on because the sign stated $2.79. He responded by saying I needed to do something in which I replied I took the picture of the sign and he didn't say anything and I presumed he changed it to the correct price I stated. So at the very end , after total rang up, and I used my Target card, it was over $133. I was supposed to get a $15 gift card for the over $50 spent on household goods. He told me to go to guest services in which I said NO, I'm not going anywhere. He called lady over who stated did I enter my number in which I replied I used my Target card, she then stated that yiu have to enter your number. I stated the sign doesn't say anything about entering your number when you are grabbing the over $50 household goods. After this frustrating event I requested a full refund as I will not spend my hard earned money where I am not appreciated. This was the actual 3rd time that I have had to request to get my gift card after fullfillng the requirements to get, and if yiu don't remember yiu will just check out without it. TARGET NEEDS BETTER MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER APPRECIATION TRAINING. Target also can't advertise and then when yiu check out it is different. I'm sure I'm ot the only one this has happened too. Target is trying to make profits...
