We enjoyed lunch at Rockfish Seafood & Grill on 8/30/2019 and ordered Herb Crusted Chicken for myself and Grilled Catfish and Shrimp with Fries and Slaw for my husband. I discovered while reviewing the menu that you can substitute any fish dish with chicken which is awesome because I have a hard time eating fish which makes this a nice lunch or dinner date with the Honey type place, so we are both happy. I also had a Mimosa which was a nice way to start my weekend! Food: The food was delicious. We both thought our meals were light and so fresh it tasted like they may have just put the coleslaw together right out of a garden! The Herb Crusted Chicken came on a bed of herbed orzo pasta in a creamy lemon butter sauce with small chunks of tomatoes and fresh spinach, making my mouth water just thinking about it, was also served with fresh crisp but just done enough broccoli. Yes, yum, may need to go for lunch again now. Accessibility and ambiance: We sat near the bar in a booth but there are also tables if you prefer. The bar had two TVs both playing sports when we arrived. There is also a patio if you prefer to sit outdoors and enjoy the breeze. The bathrooms were very clean and smelled like they had recently been clean. There is also a family restroom for your convenience. There was no need for wheelchair ramps as there are no steps. The dining area and bar were clean and had the furnishings as if you were at the ocean and enjoy your catch near the pier. Cost: We spent $44 for Lunch for 2 with a Mimosa and a Beer along with 2 waters however we ordered from the Dinner menu rather than the lunch menu. They do offer a lunch menu Monday – Friday from 11am – 4pm with $10 and under choices. Tips: You can substitute fish with chicken on any dish. Brunch is served On Saturday and Sunday 10am – 3pm. This would be an enjoyable place to meet up with friends. See the patio picture! Service: Very friendly from the moment we walked in. We were immediately greeted. Our server seemed genuinely pleased to show us our table and help offer suggestions and remained cheerful throughout the entire visit. We would definitely recommend giving Rockfish Seafood and Grill a try, you might just find your new...

This place packs a punch thats for sure! The atmosphere was great, nice, cool, very smooth, not too loud where you had to talk loud to hear one another. The waitstaff was very attentive, very helpful and informative, this was my first time visiting so I didn't know what to expect from another seafood restaurant, but I'm glad I visited, the food was excellent 😋, the portion size was huge, alot or enough to fill you up if you like large portions, so no need to worry about getting full, now as far as the food itself, I will say that it was amazing! The Catfish was cooked perfectly, moist and fluffy, it almost melted in your mouth The shrimp were nice sized, not your normal so called shrimp size like most places offer, the platters also came with fries n hush puppies, we also ordered the spicy shrimp and chicken pasta , has a spice that gradually kicks in as u eat,, but is very flavorful, but the sampler was phenomenal, u get a dip w chips, zesty semi spicy shrimp on a bed a crispy onion strings and the best part were the bombs 💣, crispy cheeseball filled with bacon n jalapenos, these bombs were so good I (just me) ordered a full order of these!! I committed glutney this night. When I left I was very satisfied from within Now they do serve beer and wine but this night I was focused on food! I will definitely be back and bring more family members to try other platters they have. Highly recommend 👌 Be safe, have fun,...

We dined at Rockfish May 1 2024. It was my first time there and it didn't disappoint. The establishment was clean, including the bathroom - very important! It was spacious enough to accommodate large parties, but also had a "homey" neighborhood bar feel - a couple was watching the Dallas Stars play at the bar and chatting it up with a familiar bartender. We were seated and that's where the 5-star experience really began. Jonathan "AKA" Johnny" was our waiter for the evening. I told him it was my first time and to spare no expense with the explanations, which he did. He gave great recommendations, which led to an excellent dinner, Cajun Red Fish! I also tried the "Maryland crab cakes", and it totally passed the test. As a Baltimore native, born and raised - this is a major compliment coming from me. Johnny was patient with us when it came time to make decisions about our order. We were dining with a 2 year old and a 7 month old both in high chairs. We got the "Rockin' green Beans" for the 2 year old and she loved them. They were so good that we had a second order sent to the table. He didn't forget about us throughout the evening, was very attentive and patient with the kids. His final recommendation was the fried bread pudding, which we absolutely loved. Ultimately we left, bellies full - with a very memorable service experience thanks to...

I went here for a lunch date with a friend. We saw the snow crab and shrimp special and decided to give this place a try. I had a bowl of clam chowder. It was very flavorful. We had the crab cakes and garlic bread for appetizers. The crab cakes were salty and very fishy. I am a crab cake lover, but I wouldn't return for these. The garlic bread was very good, especially for the price. Entrée... we order the special with garlic butter. There was absolutely no flavor to this boil. We ordered a side of butter and lemon wedges to add some flavor to the seafood. I wasn't expecting a Cajun seafood boil, but I did expect flavor, and this certainly lacked in that department. Very disappointed. Dessert.... the bread pudding. Amazing! I'm not a big bread pudding fan, but it was great. The bourbon sauce they put on it was so good. Service... I'd give the service a 3. Our waitress was also the bartender. She forgot our crab cakes order so they didn't come out timely. She was polite but trying to work the bar and her tables until the rest of the staff arrived on shift. Overall, I doubt I'll return. The special was a great way to draw in new customers. However, I didn't have anything that would make me feel like I just HAVE to come back.

Came to this location on 5/4 for the peel n eat shrimp with the $4 Hurricane. I got the garlic & butter. It was okay but needed more seasoning. I added some hot sauce to give it more of a taste. Hurricane Drink was ok. Service was mediocre. The waitress never refilled our drinks, she never ask me would I like another hurricane drink after I had finished it. She attempted to take our plates when I wasn't even done. I asked her why would you think in finished my food, clearly she could see I had about 10 shrimp left and a potato. So in that moment I felt rushed The waitress maybe wasn't experience she didn't read the table, drinks needed to be filled. The other party at the table had an empty plate. She should've grab that plate, she didn't. She should have also ask did I need another drink. Empress Moders this was a mediocre experience for me. 👎
