Wasabi & Wok — Restaurant in The Colony

Wasabi and Wok is amazing! We love coming here and it is a real treat. So glad we live close by and can come often. The prices are reasonable and you definitely get your money’s worth quality and quantity wise. We always get their sushi too because it is so tasty and fresh. We just had dinner there and Anthony was an amazing server. Everyone is so friendly and attentive to their guests. We come every few weeks now because we can’t get enough! :)

Update: So sad, but I am removing 3 stars. We have been trying to go on a moderately regular basis, but with a couple of sub-par meals, we decided to give it a break. I always loved their soup even when it felt like the quality of their entrees was slipping, so one day I got some soups to go for a fun date night in. I found a dead bug floating at the top of my soup. Needless to say, I was horrified. I had already had a couple of sips and was totally grossed out. When my boyfriend went to the location the next day (upon their request), they interrogated him about why he didn't call that night. They were already closed the night before and we actually did call and leave a message just in case. Then, we called right when they opened the next morning (11 or 12, I believe). It was silly to question us like that when we also had photos and we offered to bring the soup back for inspection. They also made it difficult for us to get a refund and required us to come to the location to do so. Not sure if that is an administrative thing, but it was really complicated regardless. The whole situation was weird. The staff is kind but unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Update per business response: He is not my husband. Really the larger issue is the bug in the food and questioning that surrounded whether or not it was legitimate, which it was. Addressing the inconvenience of the card issue was less important to us, so I don’t know how your response helps resolve my concerns. Again, he is...

I ordered low mein combination and shrimp fried rice combination both orders were very bland with no flavor and their chicken and shrimp were the color WHITE. “I called the place to see what they could do they told me to go see a DOCTOR😡 cause there food gave me and my husband diarrhea and then told me to bring all my food back up there so they can check it out … I WOULD NEVER ORDER THERE EVER AGAIN …. I just never heard of an owner telling their customer to go see a doctor and then to bring there food back in .. I wasn’t asking for a refund but she automatically ASSUMED I WANTED A REFUND .,, when all I was trying to do was tell her that their food was no good …. She jumped straight to conclusions and that is why I won’t go back plus they put only 1 white shrimp in my shrimp combination and 2 white pieces of chicken…. VERY POOR SERVICE AND NASTY FOOD AND OH LET ME NOT FORGET THERE CRAB SMELLED LIKE...

I've veen here 2 times and each time there was an issue. The first time the waitress was unfamiliar with the sauces they have. I asked for a sweet chili sauce and said they didn't have it. She comes back with a bottle that says "sweet chili sauce" on the bottle asking if that is what I wanted. This last time I ordered Sesame Chicken. I get my food and it is has a sour taste to it, not sweet, like you would expect. I only eat a few bites as it was not what I wanted. My full plate of food is pushed to the side and I am asked if I want a to go box. I explained I didn't like it as it was sour and the waitress explained that is comes with a sweet and sour sauce. I'm no expert on Chinese food but that isn't right. She did not offer to remove it from my bill despite being unhappy and a full plate of food was sitting on the table. There is a sushi bar so perhaps there...
