Today I went to your store with my future daughter-in-law to pick up the engagement ring my son purchased for her. After wearing it a few months she felt the center stone was loose. She had to leave the ring because the jeweler wasn’t there. She was told over the phone the jeweler looked at it and it was fine/not loose and she could come pick it up. I was there to just give her my opinion and when the saleswoman handed us the ring I inspected it and it looked perfect. I wanted my daughter-in-law to be reassured so we politely asked if we could ask the jeweler a quick question. He looked up at us as if he was completely annoyed and had the audacity to say he was too busy. He begrudgingly came over and said there’s nothing wrong with the ring and went back to his chair. To say treating a customer like this is unacceptable is an understatement. How is treating a customer this way even allowed. It would be impossible to refer anyone to your store and for sure we will never come back. Response to reply: Just to make sure there is no misunderstanding..my daughter-in-law loves her ring. The experience purchasing the ring was wonderful especially with Michelle as our salesperson. Having been in the jewelry business myself I understand the importance of good customer service. You can check your video as you like but you can’t defend simply wanting to ask the jeweler a quick question and have him look at you as if he didn’t want to be bothered and state I’m very busy. He did come over for 20 seconds with no smile and said the ring is fine. You can defend that kind of behavior if you like but we both walked out feeling shocked and confused as to how we were just treated. At least call...
Read moreI often don't ever do reviews because quite frankly seems like most places you go anymore are not deserving of a good review and since I won't spread negatively I simply don't review. That being said this review is about an extraordinary woman, her name is Michelle. I enherited my mother's diamond ring 20 years ago and it needed to be checked the ring is monetarily valuable but evermore valuable to my heart. I have not taken it anywhere for fear of being swindled. Michele, could feel how I was feeling as if it was her own mother's ring. She was gentle. She checked every single prong, she carefully checked the diamond. It was as if she was talking to mom's ring. Actually, brought tears to my eyes. Michelle never left my side and th ring stayed in front of me the whole time. There are little places where you go anymore that you are considered valuable and not just a number and the only conversation you get is "how are you going to pay for that cash or card"! I truly can't express how valuable Michelle made me feel from the time I walked in the front door and as she walked me to the door as I left. I wish more employees of many companies would take her example. What a tremendous human being. I felt actual Joy the entire experience and that is amazing in this day an age. I will be sharing this with all my friends so they will know where to go for all their jewelry needs and be surely telling them to ask for Michelle. Thank...
Read moreLeft a pearl necklace to be restrung, put a pearl back on that had fallen of, and get a new clasp. First time I went to pick it up the pearls were very loose and they left the one off completely. Looked like an elementary school project. I left it there and again, went back to get it. They still didn’t get them tightened; several pearls were still loose. They put the one other pearl back on, but on the wrong side so that the clasp wasn’t even on straight! I would NOT recommend this store for pearl work. I will not be taking anything back to this store for repair! This is a wedding gift and I’ll have to take it somewhere else to get it done correctly! The charge for this fiasco was $100.00.
Response to Jewelry Design: When I dropped them off, I was told the restringing was $90.00 and the clasp was $10.00. The pearls were nice and tight when I dropped them off and was told they would redo the the same. Several of the pearls were tight, but many were not; yet they are all the same age. I gave your shop a second chance and they were still messed up. What could you possible do...
