Lil Bits Cafe — Restaurant in Florida

The food was good and the service was fine, but the owner who greets and seats you needs to learn how to be a host. He greets you fine, but when he walks you to a table, he tosses the menus on the table as if he was annoyed and walks away without saying anything to you such as, "your waitress will be rihtwith you" or anything. We were shocked by how he did this and thought he was mad for some reason. The table next to us noticed this and commented to us about it. We then noticed he did this every time he sat guests. We also spoke to the waitress about it, and she acknowledged that he did this all the time. What's worse is he doesn't say a word to you as you pass by upon exiting like "thank you" "come again" in fact deepen look up. VERY STRANGE behavior for someone who owns a "hospitality" business such as a restaurant. He would benefit his business 1000% by hiring someone to host or hostess because otherwise, it is a...

What a very quaint slice of Paris found here in the Villages of Central Florida!

The menu is quite varied. We selected the gyro wrap and homemade chicken salad wrap. We'll, ok...we also settled on three flavors of oh-so-yummy cupcakes!

The wraps were tender and moist. The cooked potato chips were very fresh and crisp! The cole slaw had a wonderful flavor and tasted quite fresh.

I have had the very fresh homemade chocolate croissants previously and are definitely a must-have in the morning!

Owners Caroline and Terry also offer this little slice of Paris with a "special selection" dinner menu on Friday nights only (otherwise, it is open for breakfast and lunch). Caroline's French culinary expertise shines well here!!

Very cheap on the portions. I ordered a Turkey Melt and basically got a $13 grilled cheese. There was one thin slice of turkey on it. It was processed cheap cold-cut turkey and not real turkey. They also carry no vegetables, how does someplace not carry any vegetables? The staff seemed disinterested and not concerned at all about the unsatisfactory sandwich I got. After paying over $13 for one slice of cheese and one slice of turkey with stale bread I feel like I totally got robbed. I could of made a issue while I was there but I was so disgusted they had the nerve to serve this I figured I would cut my losses and never be back and suggest to friends to never step foot in there. They sure did get the name right “lil bites”...
