I had called to place a pickup order with Shandee and over the phone it was very clear she didnât know what she was doing or needed more training. I had to repeat myself multiple times with her and ordered the crepe combo with white toast and the french toast combo with an extra piece of french toast. Both the crepes and french toast were supposed to be banana foster. When I picked up the order the first time she seemed very unprofessional, chewing gum and loudly smacking and didnât have a great sense of customer service whatsoever. She never told me her name over the phone and didnât have a name tag on, I had to read her necklace. We live 15 minutes away and when we got home to eat, there was no white toast and they only gave us one piece of regular french toast when there was supposed to be 2 pieces of banana foster french toast. I checked the receipt she gave me and thereâs no details of the order, just a statement saying I paid the amount. I called them and it was shandee that answered. She swore she put everything in the bag but a whole main course was missing and she has no remorse or phone etiquette whatsoever. We had them remake our entire order because food was cold now due to the inconvenience and drive time and thankfully they did. I also was able to get a refund thanks to the manager who also never told me her name. Also when I was checking the food before I left, there were no bananas on my crepes and when I asked the manager about it she said they put them on the side so they donât get mushy but when I had received the first order that was messed up, the bananas were on the crepes so I guess theyâre just messing everything up the first go round. Last month I ordered online and when I got there they proceeded to tell me that their online ordering was down and it didnât come through. I ended up waiting almost an hour from the time I had ordered originally to the time I got my food. So today I tried my chances with the online ordering again. But this time I called to make sure it was working before I waisted my time. Of course I called over and over again for about 20 minutes with no answer. So I put the online order in anyway. I got to the restaurant and rather then the manager making an effort to check on my order I got answers like âitâs going to be awhileâ and âI donât knowâ . I actually had to ask him to check if it went through rather then him taking an initiative to help me. Of course his excuse is âwe are short handedâ. After I had to ask him if he could check if my order even went in, rather then walking three steps to the kitchen to check, he walked across the restaurant and cleaned 3 or 4 tables then eventually made his way to the kitchen. So DO NOT order TO GO from the Wedgewood Lane IHOP because chances are it wonât work. I ordered mine at 950 for a 1003 and it is now 1050 and Iâm just getting my TO GO order.    Read moreMy husband and I went to iHop for pancakes, he ordered the Blueberry Pancakes and I ordered the New York Cheesecake Pancakes, my husband blueberry pancakes were not in a stack, they were layered off of each other. Not to appealing. My pancakes were not at all like the picture. I had to dig deep to find the tiny dollop of cream cheese and there was only whip cream and a few strawberries on top. I heard our waiter tell a couple how there were not allowed to substitute but the chef or cook sure did a number on our pancakes. Our was in such a hurry to get orders taken and seemed so rushed with the few couples he had, didnât bother mentioning our dissatisfaction. I was at the restaurant a week before after a long absence because iHop has never been one of my favorite places to eat. The service and attitude of the employees is not that great.
