Walgreens Pharmacy — Local services in Thornton Township

Horrible ghetto customer service. I brought my daughter diapers back due to her not being able to fit them and it was the wrong kind that was giving to me months ago for a baby shower gift. LISA the black manager automatically told me we came into the store a few days ago and did this?? EXCUSE ME. We never been in this store in our life! We was told by Walmart that it came from a Walgreens so we did exactly what was instructed and went to the nearest Walgreens. First off if we “stole” them and came BACK into the store why would I go to the same location?? Let alone why would we go into the store and even try knowing we was told no before ? She made assumptions and pretty much said all black people who doesn’t have a receipt are not allowed to bring things back because we stole it and that’s sick because as a mother of 2 I had two Baby showers asked for a gift card and people still being what they want us to have! I be Grateful and try to exchange them because babies are small for so long they out grow things and literally have to take them back because they won’t be able to fit them anymore! So this experience was very ignorant and I’m happy the manager Chrissy walked in and seen how her team member LISA acts towards customers! Also at another register another member was talking to another black member questioning why he using so many coupons and what’s going on ! I decided to read the reviews and it is indeed unfortunate that so many people have experienced unacceptable situations. However, they seem to be isolated. For me it's been nothing less than exceptional even when there was a problem with getting my medication on time as they sent me an email saying it was ready. I was not happy, but because i understand sometimes things happen that's out of our control, i deal with it and move on. I've had months and months of consistent problems at the 24hr Walgreens on Torrence in Cal City. They are definitely ALL of the bad reviews i read above! So, i transferred my scripts to 183rd & Halsted. I am happy and satisfied. Thanks Grant...whom is such an asset to this pharmacy. He goes above and beyond ALL...

They put up signs closing the drive up for lunch in my face when I’d been waiting in line for 40 minutes. I will NEVER USE WALGREENS FOR ANYTHING NOR WILL ANYONE I KNOW. Completely unacceptable and the store is filthy not to mention SERIOUS DANGEROUS MISTAKES BY PHARMACY.. Seriously errors..I ordered my medication on 1/22/25 as I needed it by 1/25/25…. I called numerous time looking for an approximate date when it would arrive and when I called on 1/29/25 they said I could pick it up this afternoon…. I get there and turns out they ordered it today ….. the customer service is nonexistent at this...
