Nothing custom about this print shop! If you want to roll the dice on the actual logo colors you'll get, by all means order from planet t's! They do NOT guarantee color matching!? However you can also place your order on eBay and pay 1/3rd the cost and get the same result... probably better!
Placed 2nd order because 1st order was fine. Went to pick up 2nd order (which doubled in quantity and price) and the logo colors were completely off! My logo colors are Crimson Red (blood red, maroon etc.) And Royal Blue (dark blue).
As I'm at the shop to pick up my shirts, immediately I noticed the colors are wrong, looked like a florescent pink and baby blue... How opposite. Did they even try? I spoke with Marie and she said there's nothing they can do about it!? Really... Wow
She went on to explain the ink was low... yada yada yada... Now it's obvious they didn't want to take responsibility of their negligence which was to ensure the correct colors. For crying out loud... That's what you do... PRINTING is your business! If your ink is low... Stop the printing until your supplies are replenished! Again... That was just an excuse.
At the moment I was frustrated and didn't have time to go back and forth about it, so I grabbed my order (which was expensive) and left. As I get back to the office I checked the order again to see if I could live with the very wrong and basically opposite logo colors... Only to discover they printed my logo on the front and back of all my shirts.... Smdh! Now that's just down right ridiculous!!
The only thing right about my order was the quantity!
So I called to mildly express my thoughts, no vulgar or disrespectful language.. Just a bit excited... All my time, fuel and money spent seemed a waste! Again I spoke with Marie and she heard me out for about a minute and said she'd give me a full refund including my tip (which I felt obligated and pressured to give... Btw they have a tip bowl asking who tips best... Women or men... wth).
Then 2 minutes later she calls back to say the owner will not give me a full refund rather they will correct my order... "But please bring a shirt with your correct logo colors so we can match it".
They didn't have to match my logo colors the first order I had placed... So why now? Great question! In addition to all the nonsense and headache... Now they want me to spend more time and fuel to drop off a shirt they printed from the first order to match it up...lol how incompetent!
To sum it up... Don't ever pay up front because if your order is wrong you'll catch hell trying to get your money back.
Btw... If a "print shop" cannot guarantee color matching... Find a professional shop that can!
Lesson learned Planet T's... We will never do bad business with you again... Congratulations, you lost a good...
Read moreMy experience with Planet T's was AWFUL. I put in an online order for 7 shirts for my in-laws 40th anniversary. I called after placing the order online which was not that bad actually, however it's hard to be happy with an online experience when the product I received was so poorly executed on.
When I arrived to pickup the shirts the first problem I noticed was that I had placed a shirt order for a 3t and 4t -- the 4t shirt was significantly smaller than the 3t. When I showed the staff this agreed but said there was nothing they could do for me. They kept telling me it was a supplier issue and manufacturing issue. When I pointed out that I bought the shirt from them not from the supplier they doubled down that they can't guarantee the shirts they sell. I asked them if I could look for a larger 4t shirt as this one was really small, not to mention the fabrics and shape of the shirt were much different than the other shirt. Everyone of their employees saw the shirt abs agreed the size was terribly off and even stated they hate that brand of the shirt. They let me know that they don't carry any small sizes in stock and they wouldn't do a refund for me on the shirt because their manufacturer won't take the shirt back and is unresponsive to refund requests. I again let them know that that sounds like their issue, not mine as I am their customer not their manufacturers. Ironically they were treating me the same way as their "terrible manufacturer" treads them! It seems like false advertising to show two exact same shirts online just different colors and have them be two totally different shirts. Definitely not helpful if you are trying to do group shirts.
Upon looking at the rest of my order, they had gotten 3 of the the 5 adult shirts completely wrong. We looked at what I submitted and they took ownership that it was their fault and rushed the order to have it redone the next day. I might have given them 2 stars on this review had they not botched one of the shirts and printed the design crooked on the side instead of centered. However we needed the shirts that night so we had to go with it.
Overall, really really not impressed with their customer service or attention to detail. I felt like I offered them a million suggestions of how they could help make this right and they declined them all saying they can't be held responsible for shirts they advertise and print on- these are manufacturer issues:/ . Over a $20 shirt! Poor business practices for sure. Read morePLANET T'S IS THE WORST. We were returning customers 2 years in a row (first time June was rude and not friendly) of a football team and will not ever return. We will be letting our league know not to return here and taking all our business to another company who values the customers and customer service. I picked up my TEAM order to find when handing out shirts that we were missing 2 shirts. I called and spoke with June who yelled at me telling me there was "3" people who signed off on my order and that I walked out with the shirts. She proceeded to call me a liar and say that I had the shirts when I walked out of their store. However, I never had the shirts and continued to tell her this and asked for the families money back for the shirts that we didn't receive. She told me no money would be returned because I had the shirts. I asked for her name as she was yelling at me and she HUNG UP ON ME! WOW ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SEVICE. June called me back and said, "I found your shirts ON THE FLOOR WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S ORDER!" I then asked her name and she said, "June, I am part owner, my husband is the owner and I am part owner." Besides this bad customer service they cut over already cut vinyl and gave us shirts that looked horrible and not professional. These shirts were replaced; however, I still have 3 shirts with vinyl that was cut over and still placed on a shirt and given to us, the same 2 shirts and the 3rd shirt with our logo with cut marks. After being treated so horribly and spending $370, $22.50 for a single shirt even youth sizes, it is not worth our time to keep returning shirts we will make our own shirts with our Cricut machine and save money. It is very sad that a local small business has June handling customers with such poor customer service. As a person that deals with customers everyday, I would not ever treat any customer in this fashion. June needs lessons in customer service and how to speak and treat customers or be put in the back and not be seen or able to speak...
