If your first language is Spanish then this is the place to go. Of the 3 females working when I was there 1, which I took to be in charge acted like my being there was an imposition. 1 couldn't speak English but she always had a smile on her face. The third one had a hard time trying to interpret my order. Granted, it was a larger than normal order for 6 firefighters, but being the only customer in here it still took about 25 minutes to get my order with 2 of the females working on it because the 3rd one couldn't be bothered to help. We expected the Italian sub to be "juicy" because of the oil and vinegar but this was ridiculous. It was drowning in oil and vinegar and the bread was soggy. In fact, everyone made comments about how soggy their sandwiches were. They weren't cut all the way through when they attempted to cut the sandwiches in half so they fell apart when they were picked up. We would have been better off trying to eat them with a fork or spoon. Flavorwise they were all good. I was asking about purchasing the pickle buckets because I love them, but they had put the buckets together to kind of look like a robot and had everything held together with metal banding and screws. Putting holes in the buckets defeats the entire idea of getting buckets. This location shares the parking lot with 3 other restaurants and a couple other businesses, as well as a park across the street. Parking is at a premium and really not worth the hassle. I love Firehouse Subs and they are my first choice when I want a sub, but I would avoid this location. The employees' whole attitude while I was there gave me the impression that they didn't want my business. That's not a problem for me. Next time my buddies and I will spend our money at a different location. BTW, while I was the one who placed the order and paid for it, it was for a group of 6 firefighters. We were getting ready to go Missoula for some smoke jumper training and knew the Missoula location had closed and we ordered from here because we didn't know when we would get them again. Spent about $150 here, but...
Read moreThis review has nothing to do with the quality of the food. I love firehouse subs and their food.
I came in at 8:30, 30 mins before they closed. Came in to get two kids meals n a full size combo to go. We just got done at the trampoline park and was getting something to take home. My daughter even asked if we could eat inside and I said it’s too late to sit bc they will be cleaning soon.
As soon as we came inside I was greeted with the sound of Chris complaining that we were coming in too late to a female worker. As he walked off he made another comment about us being there. After that the lady greeted us, come to discover Chris had to get his card to access the computer to take our order that’s how I got his name.
Chris had an unprofessional tone the entire time. I knew what we wanted and took 60 seconds to order, but when I asked to make sure the kids came with a drink, Chris had a tone n hand gestured to hurry up n then you could read his face his was more upset as he stewed on it. While he helped the other worker he slammed a few things around.
I could have walked out n went somewhere else, but I wasn’t gonna put my kids through the drama. I said please n thank you, and stayed respectful. My kids were fixed on my phone while I ordered the food and weren’t paying attention to this behavior.
With experience in the industry and being in management, the store is in business till 9. I didn’t come at the last 15 or 10 mins. We left at 8:43. If you don’t like what you do switch to a different job. You represent a company and are the face for them. You don’t get to treat people like crap because you’re upset that you’re on the clock and being paid to work. I didn’t say anything wrong or unprofessional, but you made it verbally and physically aware that you were mad to do your job.
I enjoy going to this location bc it’s right by skyzone, but I can go to another spot no biggie. I hope this was a one off for the guy...
Read morePlaced an order through the app with a stated pickup time of 4:45pm. Arrived at the restaurant at 4:50 figuring a 5 minute cushion would be plenty, and it was not ready. The employee said “give us 7 minutes.” I told her that it was already supposed to be ready 5 minutes ago, to which she replied “I just walked in the door and put my apron on.” What kind of response is that?? No apology at all. And there were 3 other employees who apparently couldn’t complete one order? It was not busy, and the employees seemed to have time to gossip instead of work. My order was not ready until 4:58, thirteen minutes after it was supposed to be. This delay made us late for an event. I would have just cancelled the order but quite frankly didn’t think the employees had the wherewithal to do that. When my order was ready, there was STILL NO APOLOGY AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY. And the sandwiches were clearly thrown together sloppily and not cut evenly. The staff at this location are very rude and, based on previous reviews here, this seems to be a consistent issue that management does not care to rectify. This location knowingly allows it’s staff to be rude and lack basic customer service. And to the owner, I have already provided this information to...
