ALDI — Local services in Thousand Oaks

I went for groceries few weeks ago to this establishment. I have been a loyal customer from Aldi's for a long time i love their products and prices. However While I was in the line waiting to pay for my groceries. I noticed the young lady cashier. She was coughing really bad while scanning the groceries. I started talking to her because I noticed she was sick i suggested she should have call out sick, and she replied " I couldn't afford unless it was life threatening situation" She had a bit of an attitude. I understand the financial situation of many families can be pretty difficult but they can take pto.

But management and employees should be more considerate that you might infect other people. After a couple of days i started to have flue like symptoms, body aches and really bad, sore throat,cough, wheezing, shortness of breath and fatigue i was prescribed antibiotics, inhaler and medicine for bronchitis. And i don't know if I had covid-19. i just had a doctor's appointment today. I have been prescribed with antibiotics, inhaler and cough medicine to treat bronchitis.

Im taking my valuable time to write this message because im worry about elderly people and people with asthma or other related issues that are high risk. I feel the managers should be in the lookout and if they see their employees been sick to be more considerate. I am very confident that she got me sick because it was the only store I visited before having symptoms.
