Came here for a quick breakfast before a hike. This was my first time and I was pleasantly surprised. The location is great…close to the freeway, Target and other shops. It’s a bit easy to miss because it’s in a small strip mall across from the big Target shopping complex. When we arrived around 9:30 there was someone in line and a handful of people seated enjoying their coffees and food. The menu offered some good choices and we both decided to order the avocado toast. We had plenty of coffee beforehand so we opted not to get a coffee, or beverage. Our order took about 10 minutes to make. After ordering, a steady stream of people came in so it did get busier. When our food arrived it was served on a plastic plate which isn’t a big deal other than it slipped easily on the table when we went to cut our food. So for the toast….it was a large piece of sourdough piled high with lots of fresh, mashed avocado, fresh arugula, a handful of halved cherry tomatoes and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. It came with a side of fresh fruit that included cantaloupe and honeydew. The toast was delicious! We both ate every bite! It was $13/piece and we thought it was a fair price considering the size and quality. My review is limited considering that I only tried the avocado toast. However, I liked the vibe and the offerings so I will be back to try more. Bet that you’ll find another review when I do so :)

Great coffee! I've been a couple times since the new owners have taken over and they just keep getting better! So far I've tried a couple drinks and they're good!! I will preface by saying I'm very particular about my espresso in my drinks but these are good to satisfy my sweet tooth as they are very sweet. Churro latte *not pictured*: OMG SO GOOD!!! It is on the sweeter side and the espresso was a little bitter but honestly that worked great as it balanced out the sweetened so I didn't mind. I loved the cinnamon sugar (crunchy bits) and honestly would go back every day for this drink. Concha Cold Foam *pictured below*: SO GOOD!! I have never tried cafe de olla and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it! The strawberry cold foam went great with the coffee and the complimentary concha was such a good pickup for this morning! I've been visiting conejo coffee since I was young but had been out off by the past service when the old owners were there. These last couple times have been great and super friendly! It's a cute small coffee shop with lots of comfortable seating and such a great cozy atmosphere.

I got an iced Carmel Macchiato, and it was really good. The overall shop is pretty nice and definitely has the nice small family owned coffee shop vibe. However it is definitely right leaning, as no one was wearing masks, there was a big back the blue flag, and I also noticed a note urging you not to vote by mail. The owner was really nice though and it seems like there is a good relationship between him and the regulars that come in. Great shop, unfortunately probably won’t be back due to some of the things they’re advocating for but none the less a great establishment and would recommend if you don’t mind some of the previously listed things.

With constant traffic jams on 101 north and looking for coffee and a snack, we took exit 47C and turned right at the end of the off-ramp, attracted by a sign for Conejo Valley -- Rabbit Valley! We almost immediately saw Conejo Coffee to our right. It was just the sort of non-generic bakery/coffee shop we were looking for, and we weren't disappointed. A wide choice of excellent coffees. The pastries were made on the premises and were delicious. I had a chocolate and cream cheese croissant -- a great improvement over the generics -- and the family enjoyed other pastries. They also had a wide selection of fresh-made sandwiches, baguette and other -- very tempting if only it had been closer to lunchtime. There's a small seating area at the back of the cafe, with several tables, nice comfortable atmosphere. And -- a big plus -- a bookshelf with some intriguing books. My son discovered an old edition of Mother Goose Rhymes, a big hit! Athough the cafe has been established for quite a while, the present owners, a delightful couple, have been running it for about a year. May they have...
