I called the store to see if they had frothers. Being handicapped, I sometimes prefer to find out if a store has a particular item before having to get in and out and in and out of my van. A very nice woman said that as of yesterday, they had some. I was there within 20 minutes. I couldn't find them on the wall with all the kitchen gadgets on it. I asked a nice woman who was putting out merchandise. She walked me to kitchen items, but didn't know if they were there or not. They weren't. I called the main # from inside the store because walking is quite difficult for me. The woman who answered said maybe they were with the plastic storage containers. They weren't. I called again and the woman who answered said maybe they were in the bar area. I had no idea where the "Bar area" was so, I walked to the front of the store and asked where it was. A very nice woman "Stephanie" pointed me in the right direction but, before she did, a heavy set cashier at the next register, quite rudely said, "Well maybe we're out of them!" I said, if anyone knew where they were, then I'd know where to look and only then would I know if you were out of them or not. Stephanie tried to get someone to help me, but failed. She was really very nice. I went to the bar area but couldn't find any frothers. Given that it was getting quite difficult to walk any longer, I unloaded my cart onto shelves on my way out of the store. As soon as I got to my van in the handicapped space, I ordered a frother from Amazon. I will have it tomorrow. There's a reason Amazon is eliminating the competition.
I called Home Goods' corporate office and spoke to a very nice woman. She said she would make sure the store manager Jeffrey, I think, would be informed. She offered me a gift card. I declined. Not only will my family and I never enter this store again, but I won't buy anything from them...
Read moreThis is by far the most unorganized store I’ve been to. When I go there they large carts with merchandise on them all over the place making it very hard to move around and shop conveniently without bumping into something or one of the RUDE employees on the floor. They are only hypocritical nice when they are at the register and is probably because they are being watched. I know for a fact that it changed management and I honestly thought it would become better but it didn’t. Simi Valley store is so clean and organized I just wish it was not far from me and I had an incident that happened a couple of weeks ago with some merchandise that I purchased and was giving out to a person without me calling them to release it to this person and they only went by a picture that this guy had on his phone and released the piece of furniture without contacting me to double check if I had sent that person to pick up . Long story short the person never delivered my piece of furniture that I purchased for $300 so I lost all the way around because management was not helpful or sympathetic to my loss! Their policy is not the best when it comes to this matter so be...
Read moreI don't usually frequent home goods but I do like to go once in a while for quilts because my husband and I love them. We visited today just because and found the most beautiful duvet cover. It was opened with no packaging on top of a box, it had not tag either. Let me tell you we wanted it bad. So I tried to ask an employee if she could help us but she seemed like she was in a rush and couldnt help but said she's be back. She never came back so I found someone else who told us she had to ask her manager about pricing since it had no tag. Her manager came out and said it was a queen and if we were interested she could ticket it. Sadly, we have a king comforter and the manager said the selection was small to look around and see if we can find one with a tag. We looked and couldn't find an identical one so we decided against it. Long story short and 2 more unpleasant sales associate encounters later. We took the queen duvet and will...
