Alpine Deli — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

Does not comply with local COVID rules. I was inside the deli for 20 minutes to pick up my phone order (yes, my sandwich was already ordered and the experience still took that long) and was behind a couple wearing no masks, George (I think was his name) was behind the counter chatting to another couple with his mask pulled down below his chin. The couple with no masks on proceeded to sit down inside and eat their food. I wish I had gone to Jersey Mike's across the street. I know not all small family owned establishments are like this and I was disappointed, I will not recommend this spot based on...

Sausages, sandwiches, German groceries, and judging by how many people came who were obviously regulars....this place is much loved by the neighborhood.

I loved the suisswurst, my Black Forest ham and cream cheese sandwich was perfect...mostly because the roll was awesome. The German potato salad was fantastic... how I never knew this was tucked away in here... I've missed out all these years!! Love this little shop and will be...

Have to give a huge shout out to Alpine Deli for making a terrific sandwich platter for our baby shower! It was a hit and George made the whole process so easy. As everything always is from here, the food is high quality, so fresh, and everything was made to our specifications. Thanks too to Brandon for helping us get it to the car.
