Quaint family centered Cafe with classic ice cream flavors, including some topping options.
My friend and I split a Banana Split and a West Coaster burger, which we made into a double and added portobello mushrooms too (great choice!). We did have to ask for the cheese, which seemed to be missing, but overall, the flavors and textures were well made. Note, my picture (usually much better) does not do the burger justice, we just got eager to eat it and the banana split came out first so I forgot to take the picture before we split it and started eating it 😅
The service staff is very young, so it seems like a great place to work as a first job. They were all friendly and helpful, even asked if I wanted to switch out any of the ice cream flavors, which I loved and thought was very thoughtful!
The regular fries (they have a sweet potato option), were fresh, soft and crispy, but could use a bit more seasoning. Even as just an option to top them offer myself. I'd suggest garlic, paprika and sea salt...but even other dipping sauces could give this cafe a sweeter edge. Still very enjoyable though.
Their soda machine is Subborn brand (not the ginger flavor, but the Pineapple Cream is sweet and soft, nice bubbles and was very cold, the small sample I sipped). The purple Lemonade we sampled was also good. Might be good as a mix. Maybe.
I didn't notice any power outlets for work meetings or view the bathroom, so can't comment on that.
The Banana Split was a nice change from my usual preference of a gelato in a cup or Waffle cone. In this case, ice cream, definitely NOT gelato, but still soft and creamy. My friend thought the flavors were less intense than we prefer and are used to, probably, because they offer toppings. They're still good, just could use more vanilla beans in that flavor and more cocao to the chocolate, fresh Strawberry chucks would up level the kick to the fresh strawberry. We enjoyed it, just would like to see a bit stronger flavors. The banana was soft, fresh and went very well together. The whipped cream is definitely light and fluffy, probably from a can. Not likely made in house, at least not thick like you can make on your own with heavy whipping cream and honey. Not bad, just something that could elevate the overall quality...especially for a $12.95 dessert! Which considering there are 3 decent sized scoops and toppings compares well to ordering a double and single.
PROS Customer Service Decent quality Higher quality soda and Lemonade Ice Cream Cakes and other dessert options available (chocolate chip brownies, rice krispy treats, brownies, mud pie, etc.) Fair serving sizes
Pros/Cons Average prices, we paid about $32 for one double burger with fries and a banana split to share between us.
CONS Atmosphere is okay, not bad, not spectacular Flavors are great, but could be leveled up a touch Not sure if there are outlets, not ideal for longer visits Bit noisy from all the children (around 7:30pm on a Thursday night in...

Went here for dinner with my two girls and ordered A sandwich that said it came on toasted French bread. I was surprised to notice that it was on the exact same bread as my kids grilled cheese sandwich; I asked a server about it. The server did not come back and eventually i was told had gone on a break. Eventually and unfortunately I came in contact with "Zach the manager " Who told me that my sandwich was in fact French bread. I asked him if it then was possible to get a kids grilled cheese sandwich NOT on French bread. Zach became quite flustered at this. This was my first time eating food here and I was disappointed no it's just because of the possibly bad labeling but bc was cold and bland. So I was going to order ice cream for two little kids (standing right behind me giggling) At this point Zach tells me that they will "not serve us ice cream". I initially assumed that they were going to comp us our ice cream but to my disbelief "Zach the manager" (or "Mad Zach" as my kids called him when we left without our ice cream) seriously told us that they would not serve us ice cream because I was "harassing the staff". 😆 Me and my kids.
I had only interacted with other staff to ask for an additional plate, which I had to go back and ask for later has the promised play to never arrived -- I made no comment of that. Perhaps Zach's game was so thrown off by me pointing out that the same bread was on the kids grilled cheese sandwich as on my "toasted French bread " that he believed that I was harassing staff (this with my giggling kids next to me)! Wow. It takes a manager with a lot of cajones to tell her dad and two little girls that they will not be served ice cream. He seemed quite confident that his owner, Scott, would stand behind him.
I live close by, will not go back. We went to good old Baskin-Robbins and had amazing ice cream!
Two stars instead of one because the staff was dressed...

I cannot rave enough about Little Calf Creamery — they were hands-down the highlight of my birthday party! Throughout the event, guests kept coming up to me saying "This is the best ice cream I've ever had!" The flavors were insanely good, creamy, fresh, and clearly made with love. They came on location and brought the cutest little ice cream sunday cart with a red umbrella. It was darling.
The owner Scott is an amazing human. Not only is he incredibly kind and personable, but he also went to school in Pennsylvania to learn how to make ice cream professionally. That level of dedication shows in every scoop. He uses all-natural ingredients, and it tastes like pure joy.
The best part? His rates were actually less than hiring a shaved ice truck. It was an affordable, delicious upgrade that seriously elevated the entire vibe of the party.
I had people texting me the next day asking for his contact info — that’s how much of an impression he made. If you’re planning a party, event, or just want to treat your guests to something unforgettable, Little Calf...
