Person named Luis at front Desk misbehaved with me. I was ok to pay for extra sauce and salad i was trying to take he did not allowed me to do so, he asked me to pay for large bowl of salad, i was like ok i can pay for that, but i wanted to use a take away box to take the xtra salad and other things. I tried to pay as much ae he asked but two members of the team Luis was the main to decline my request to take the things to go home even though i wanted to pay for big bowl of Salad, what does it matter to him how i take those extra things home if i am paying for that. This place has worst kind of and ill mannered staff. The other person was trying to interuppt me with a mop to get the extra stuff in my plate which i was ok to pay as much they asked. I could not imagine in my dreams the negative energy they are pouring into your food while handing it over to you. I have never wrote a Bad review for any place. In my whole life its the first time a food place has this kind of staff a cleaner interuppting with his Mop stick to not let you get what you want and a worst behaved person who seemed in his middle age to be mature enough to insult you in front of every one by declining to not let you use a Carry home Box to take the food home. Even if you are ready to pay for that. Worst food place i have ever visited. I felt so bad that i could not take the food home because of this kind of experience even though i paid for it i had to give it back to them to enjoy it themselves. Worst customer service. God forgive these people for how they behave with...
Read moreOn a Friday night, we ordered a large vegetarian specialty pizza online, then went to pick it up 15 minutes later and discovered Toppers was a madhouse! There were no curbside pickup spots available, although I had ordered for curbside pickup. I parked in an adjacent parking spot, walked into the restaurant, and then discovered hundreds of people had the same idea as our family on this night.
I waited 25 minutes inside the restaurant, fully masked, near the kitchen, for my order to come up. There were about 50 orders ahead of mine. The kitchen was running like a manufacturing facility, with about one pizza coming off the tri-level conveyor oven every 5 - 10 seconds. Check out the attached video.
In the end, we took our pizza and enjoyed it peacefully at home. We are a family of 3, and a large was the perfect size, with a couple of slices left over.
The crust was rolled to a perfect medium thickness and baked to a moderate crisp on the bottom. The tangy sauce, mozzarella cheese and fresh vegetable toppings were the perfect complement. Even with longer wait times on weekends with the ongoing pandemic, you can't go wrong ordering from Toppers. They have their act together and can still maintain their quality even at...
Read moreI ordered a lunch special. I had food left over, so I asked for a to-go box and a cup for water. So I went to get the water, but nothing was marked as water like on other restaurant's soda fountains. In most places , the water tab is with the lemonade tab marked in front with a metal tab. Since I didn't see anything marked as water, I started pressing different tabs on the soda fountain, trying to find the one that also had water. One of the Topper's servers came over and took my cup without helping me. I'm an older person, but not stupid. All he had to do was to ask...may I help you? Instead, he treated me like a criminal, and I left without getting water. The other thing that bothered me was... I went to the counter and told them that I needed a container for my salad and pizza....they would only give me one card board container....I said the box is going to leak.. did they have a bag that I could put the box in? You would have thought that I was robbing a bank. I have been to other Topper's, but that location in Thousand Oaks , I found to be rude...
