Eggs-N-Things — Restaurant in Thousand Oaks

Visited for my first time this past weekend and I can honestly say I love this place. I knew I was in for a great meal when after I sat down, and shortly after I placed my order, they brought over a free crêpe with berry jam on top. It was a great start to the meal and it’s so rare that you get anything free when dining out in LA. It’s located up in sleepy Thousand Oaks and because of that parking is much easier in this part of LA than down south. There is a large free parking lot attached so parking was really easy. Our server was also extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. Inside is quite large and they have many different seating options available and can host many different size groups. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table for a 10 AM Saturday brunch.

They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of classic items so it was hard to choose what I wanted to order. As always I started with a cup of coffee and it was strong and did the job. For my meal, I chose the namesake Eggs N Things Omelette because I had heard that their omelettes were seriously tasty and can confirm that they definitely are. They are very large in portion size and I chose to add avocado to mine which I would recommend to anyone. I also got a side biscuit and can say that this is one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had in LA. I loved every bit of it and would go here again specifically for the biscuits. I went to Eggs-N-Things in Thousand Oaks for some breakfast and wanted to post a review of my experience. First of all, I am the type of person that even if the food is delicious, I won’t go back to an establishment if I get terrible service. But this wasn’t the case when I had breakfast here. Whenever I go to eat breakfast somewhere I always look for chicken fried steak and eggs because it’s my favorite. Our server Jony recommended it too so I got it. The food was delicious. My meal was nice and hot (I hate room temperature food). Jony was the best server I’m telling ya, he would always check on me if I needed anything. One thing I hate when I eat out is when my beverage is empty and there’s no server around to refill it. Jony made sure my coffee never went empty. That’s what I call top tier service. Even though I live in Camarillo and there is an Eggs-N-Things in my city, I would rather go to the Thousand Oaks location because I know I’ll always be treated...

Loved that big biscuit...thats why the five stars...i got corned beef hash with eggs scrambled, good American diner portion...but that biscuit...Don't miss out on the best biscuit ever, large with a crunch on outside fluffy inside comes with whipped butter.. seriously best biscuit ever. Long line on a Sunday afternoon but didn't wait longer than 10 minutes, big place, friendly fast service probably bec you take your check to the cashier yourself. Only thing the hashed potatoes were dry, and although they appeared crunchy they weren't crispy.. oh well... so pour on the ketchup. Otherwise great place if you like breakfast for lunch or dinner...oh and you get a complimentary taste of the Swedish crepelike pancake...its also earning five stars. Next time I'm order the...
