I see all these 5 star reviews, and it confuses me, but I heard they give out incentives for 5 star reviews, credits to use, free stuffed toys, ect.. Last night the "manager" meg started out sweet and then was not when I tried comparing their store to Springfield. Her boyfriend James Pepion owns claw city, google his name you will see why they are greedy. Ended up telling me I should save my tickets for my home store. Tried not adding all my credits, I told her to recount and she saw she was wrong. The claws in Springfield are programed differently, and definitely way better! I spent $200 last night and walked away with some pokemon balls, 5 stuffies, and 13 I traded in. Usually when we spend $200 in Springfield we walk out with a 40 ticket trade in and still a bag of a few stuffies and small goodies for the kids. When I expressed my experience meg showed no empathy. At the same I am standing at the counter another lady said her kids were having a hard time as well, and Meg asked for her card and added credits for them to keep going, yet offered me nothing different. She knew I spent $200 because she added my credits. She told others about the raffle for spending money, but never did for me, so I asked for tickets and she said "oh yeah, here". l should have never led with we are from Springfield and excited to try here, seems like their partner store was a trigger. I had a way different vibe with the employees here. One staff member under her with a lot of nose piercing was not as friendly, watched me blow through 15 swipes and the animal falling out of the claw telling me I was doing it wrong I never had such a hard time in Springfield and we go there weekly. The experience was way different. Staff is way different. I feel I wasted my money going here, feel really riped off, and undervalued. For them to go above and beyond for two people surrounding me, but not a single offer to me, was a slap in the face. Why do you not treat all customers the same? You can see my swipe history vs winnings and see I was not lying. We were so excited to try Tigard. I'm very bummed, we will never go back. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Springfield, OR to go to the claw city there! The manager Shay is amazing, her assistant manager Dylan is the best as well. They reeeaaalllyyyyy care about their guests and the experience, I have never seen them ever treat anyone the way the staff here acted. They watch their customers and will superhero rescue them without them having to ask. They way they help put smiles on kids face, and sneak in helping them win making them feel like winneers on their own is so cute to watch They show compassion and kidness. Shay and Dylan make you want to go back and tell all your friends about Springfield. Meg wanted me to tell everyone not to go there, the reviews shock me! Maybe I should try a day she is not there. She even expressed to me that she paid her employee, and they went to lunch but never came back. Seems they have a hard time operating adequately. The only good thing about Tigard claw city is the water shooting game, and the ring pop claw, thats it. Everyone has their own opinion and experiences but mine unfortunately sucked, and I spent a lot of money there for nothing......GO TO...
Read moreif I left a review the first time i would have given this place 4-5 stars, leaning towards 5, but now after coming back this place is a 2 stars claw arcade
On the first trip everything was challenging, but fair, I lost more than I won but I still got a decent amount that didn't make me feel bad. The plushies and prizes were placed like you actually have a chance to win them, but now many of the machines have very clearly patted down prizes and the ones that aren't patted are put in positions that make it extremely difficult for anyone to get. The claws themselves also seem way more flimsy and slippery, including the ones that have traction pads on them to make it easier to grab things.
Many machines are more rigged then ever too, I never won any of the big prizes my first trip but that was due to me messing up and my own lack of patience when needing to be more thoughtful of how I play, now though it is very clearly rigged. Master key purposely moves itself up subtly last second to block anyone from winning, the machine with the marbles, the left trigger in the dropper doesnt work most the time, and the machine where you have to press down on a clip moves slightly after perfect timing.
You can say that I'm just bad or whatever but genuinely so frustrating that this place was so fun even when i was losing the first time and coming back it was very clearly all rigged to not let many people win anything. It's also very clear this place is bribing people with 10 dollar play cards for 5 star reviews, ofc the signs dont say they need to give a 5 star review, however it's heavily implied and most people will just to be nice.
all in all I am NOT ever coming back here unless there's some serious change and people actually start reviewing what they feel about this place instead of taking the 10 dollar 5 star play card bribe. Save your money for when this business becomes...

Wow, what a fun new place in town! I love claw machines, so I had to stop by. Good thing we went on a weekday because there wasn't really anyone there! Weekends are packed.
I paid $60 for 340 credits and got a $25 bonus. I spent about 30-40 minutes and won a handful of plushies! The claws on these machines are not super loose, so you definitely get an excellent shot at winning something here. Plus, I noticed the play on moving these claws are much better than at most arcades where it feels rigged most of the time. You can move them a millimeter and win these plushies. This will keep me coming back and bring my older kid.
Most machines are 12 credits. There is a smaller group of machines that are 8 credits for squishy balls and Pokémon balls. Big pillow plushie machine is 20 credits. You can make use of whichever package of credits you buy here.
Prizes I saw: super Mario, pusheen, sonic, pikachu, Rick and Morty, dinosaurs, boba, Pokémon balls, ninja turtles... they have an Xbox, shoes, iPhone, PlayStation for bigger prizes.
Staff is friendly and helpful!! My transaction at the kiosk failed but I was charged, so I went to the front desk and the guy helped me out. We saw a pickle rick plush and asked if we could try and get that one, so the other worker was kind enough to bring him down and let us play to get him. The facility is fun, bright, clean, and well thought out. They make excellent use of this space.
There are a few arcade games here, but if you want more of those just walk over to the little arcade in the same area. Good location with no problems finding parking. We like to grab food from Honey Spicy, which is a short...
