I've used this store over the past 5-6 years, I've had great experiences in the past with certain employees, but I recommended a friend use this place because of my experiences. I'm not going to name the employee, you can see it in other reviews. My friend was treated terribly because she had to use her voter registration, which said democrat, yet my friend hasn't voted for any democrats to run this state. She specifically voted against M114 and isn't contributing to the mess that is happening in Oregon. When I first moved here, someone signed me up with the Workers party, I didn't even know what that was, and eventually I changed it. Basically my friend and I shared a similar experience of being registered to vote, because this state allows other people to manipulate you once they have your info they can put whatever they want. It doesn't reflect your politics

Due to this, this employee berated her choices and said that (I'm paraphrasing) basically voters like her don't want this employee to exist. I've spent a lot of money with these people, and maybe they should keep politics out of their interactions with customers. Fly trump signs at the door, Put up 2a absolutists posters, whatever. I don't think its conducive to changing hearts and minds by not being respectful to people who can be brought across the aisle.

I won't be supporting this store anymore. I'm not going to leave 1 star review because I've been taken care of in the past, but I can't recommend them to friends or family, because what happened reflects now poorly on me.

The 2a community in Oregon needs to be level headed, hating Portlanders doesn't get anyone anywhere when it comes to voters. Being nice but firm and factual goes much further...

I am a watch collector have been for about 12 years. Brought in a 1961 rolex date (not to be confused with the datejust).. with semi stretched rivet bracelet today complete with original paperwork when purchased by my father in 1961(aftermarket box) in Switzerland. Asked for a small loan of 350 bc i only needed the loan for a day for an unexpected bill and it must have sketched the guy out. Without even taking the bracelet off to look at the serial number in between the lugs (which all rolexes have)or popping the back off to look at the movement, or looking at the original paperwork from rolex purchased in switzerland, the man said "this isnt a real rolex". I understand if you dont want to work with it. But telling a collector who is also a part time watch maker that a watch is fake when i spend thousands on these watches and meticulously inspect them. Anyhow ABSOLUTELY needed the loan and took my business to USA pawn in beaverton. They looked at the paper work. Popped the back off the watch. Did a bit of googling and offered me 2500..but i only needed a loan. Its really too bad that Tigard pawn 4 more is not in the business of actual loans. I truly think it was just close to closing time and he was "too busy". . Mr. Barnes, the owner doesn't know the difference between a modern rolex and a vintage. Im calling you out, Mr. Barnes as a Typical, greasy pawn shop owner. If the shoe fits, wear it. Take your business...

Over the year of stopping at Tigard Pawn 4 More I've gotten to know Allen and now when I enter the store it's "Hi Chris, good to see ya".

I was looking for a Ruger SR22 for my daughter for a Christmas present and found they had one used under the counter. I told Allen I was in to buy something so when he was free from the customers that were in the store before me he came over and asked what I was interested in.

I told him I was interested in the Ruger and laid down 50.00 (in cash) less than the asking price and he smiled and said "let me check with Tim".

Tim was on the phone with another customer but when he was through Allen asked and came back with a smile and said Tim was willing to do that since I visit the store often.

After the usual paper work and a short time with the background check he brought the gun out to me and said have a merry Christmas. I thanked him and then stuck my head around the corner and thanked Tim for his Christmas spirit.

Tigard Pawn 4 More is a favorite place to stop. I enjoy the friendship they offer and give them a 10 with a big thumbs up on how they treat me as a customer and an avid window shopper. Thanks Tim and Allen....
