Siete Estrellas in Tigard, Oregon is a hidden gem for authentic Mexican cuisine. As someone born and raised in Mexico, I have been disappointed by many so-called "authentic" Mexican restaurants in the States. However, Siete Estrellas is the real deal. Their tacos are the epitome of true Mexican flavors, with fresh ingredients and simple, authentic recipes. The hand-made tortillas are a testament to their dedication to quality. The meat is cooked to perfection, and the vegetables are grilled to perfection. Even the salsa is made in a traditional molcajete. The attention to detail and the love put into each dish is evident. Not only is the food delicious, but the prices are also very reasonable. I have been a loyal customer for a year now, and I have never been disappointed. The consistency and made-to-order approach ensure that every visit is a satisfying experience. Unlike other restaurants, they don't pre-cook the meat, which adds to the freshness and flavor. Three of their tacos are enough to satisfy my cravings. The expertise of the seven ladies in the kitchen is evident in every bite. If you're looking for an authentic Mexican foodie experience, Siete Estrellas is the...
Read moreThe service was horrible. They literally served four tables before mine, even though the other people got into the restaurant after me. Mind you, I had to go ask them after 1 hour that my food was still not there, and they still took another 20 minutes to finally get my food to my table. After that, the girl who was giving me and my parents our food threw my parents' food on the table. Then, she took another 15 minutes to actually give me MY food. When my parents started to eat, the food tasted really bad. My parents said that the eggs on their plate were raw when they specifically said that they didn't want them raw. I don't know if it was the fact that I was mad, but the food just tasted horrible, and my parents lost their appetite because of how mad they were. I forgot to mention that the waiter said, "Oh, the other food was easier to make, so we made it first. Sorry." Even though I used to come here a lot when I was younger, I will certainly not be coming back...
Read moreI had high expectations given the ratings but I'm not pleased. I ordered the torta off the lunch menu with said it came with rice and beans and homemade chips and salsa. We got our order To go and left. When I discovered that out order was wrong (when we got home) I called to let them know, only to be told that no the torta is not served with any thing at all even though it was directly written on the menu. He may be the nicest guy to everyone else but I had to sit there and argue that he just LOOK at the menu to see that it says served with rice, beans, salsa, and chips. I know this seems ridiculous but I desperately craved beans and rice and none of our orders came the way they claimed they would come. So when you go and see at the top of the lunch menu that ALL orders are served with rice and beans and chips and salsa this is a LIE and the owner will...
