I have been a customer for over a year and I have brought my service dog into your place of establishment for the last six months as well as restaurants, supermarkets and the hospital.I walked into the Tillamook store today after you’ve had a change in management and budtenders. The treatment I received was extremely rude. They were very disrespectful and your assistant manager asked me to leave due to the fact that he felt that I was lying about my dog. A couple of things I’d like to point out number one your assistant manager Dylan was wrong in saying that I had to provide a certification for my dog, bylaw you cannot ask me for certification or papers you are only allowed to ask if he is a service dog and what service he provides, instead he chose to tell me I was a liar and asked me to leave the store. In fact dogs do not need to wear vests but I choose to put one on my dogs. Your bud tender Tieler did not ask me about my service dog nor welcome us into the store instead he went straight to getting Dylan, who has no clue of ADA laws but Tieler was quite comfortable about jumping into the conversation saying that he has a service animal, and that my dog was not a service animal due to the fact he pulled on the leash (signal number one)(signal number two) and jumped up on me to signal that it was time for me to listen and go sit down. The more your staff was threatening the more my dog will respond as evidenced by the way he sat quietly by my side until your staff raised their voices at me. Couple of things I’d like to suggest if your staff is going to ask about service dogs make sure they know the law, be polite about your questions, Dylan did not even say hello welcome to our store instead he was rude and disrespectful. If Tieler truly has a service dog then he should know the laws, know that service dogs signal their owners in different ways depending on the training they’ve had and he should have been comfortable enough to ask about my service dog. My dog has been going into that store since he was five weeks old, the former staff and management all knew him and would say hello, so he and I both thought he’d still be welcome at your store which is not the way it went down today. My last comment on this is service animals are taught to give money to cashiers when their owners cannot if you have issues with that you should be finding a way to assist your disabled customers. Due to the fact that your staff was so rude I will not support your store as well as letting everyone else know about how you treat those of us who have service dogs and your rude behavior towards others. And I’d like to leave you with this thought NOT all disabilities are visible. Not only will I leave this review on your website but I’d love someone from upper management to contact me. What happened to at your store is considered illegal and you can be sued for discrimination. And lastly Dylan directed me to your website to learn about your policy on service animals NO WHERE on your site for Tillamook do you make mention of...
Read moreMy husband Jack started going here in early 2021 when the shop first opened because it was new(change of pace) and offered a multitude of daily deals that included a 10% Veteran discount that stacked with the deals he got on Friday or Sunday. We come monthly and those are his favorites days. This past December he was diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkin Lymphoma which limited his ability to be in public and then in February he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He’s been a Med Card holder since 2019 because of ailments he developed from time spent in Vietnam. In early March he became unable to make the trip to your shop so I became his caregiver. Around that same time I was told that to receive the Veteran discount, he needed to be there to provide his ID stating he was in fact, a Veteran. The staff seemed to have a hard time telling us that because they knew he was unable to be out and about. In May he was diagnosed with Leukemia which because of his age, leaves him on his deathbed. The last time I brought him, Matt and Keska came out to give him the sweetest hugs. Matt laminated his ID and allowed me to be there with his VA and Med cards as well as his service documents because he saw what he was going through. They even mentioned they could get in trouble but helped us anyway. I come this weekend to find out that they aren’t here anymore and I’m told once again that he needs to be present to show his ID to get the Veteran discount. I didn’t want to argue with people I’ve never met so I paid and left with his edibles knowing that this would likely be our last time visiting. We understand that employees come and go and we will miss the ones who took care of us but to make someone who cannot care for himself, be present to receive a discount that made him chose your establishment over anywhere else in the county is sad. The shop itself is the best we’ve ever experienced and we pray that its...
Read moreJust visited the dispensary today and they have got a new edible product in stock that I had recommended to them. They are a dipped chocolate coated hazelnut. You get 10 in a pack ,so no hassle trying to divide them for the dose you want, and there is absolutely no taste that would lead you to believe that you are ingesting any kind of cannabis product, which could be dangerous. I was always a hapy kitchen cookie guy but these Dave’s Nutz are the best thing going for me. I encourage people to...
